2U Server Cabinet Case 19 Inch Rack Mount Lockable Drawer with Key, 12.6 Inch Depth (2U)

Perfect fit in my diy equipment rack. I actually just wanted a blank space there for front access to the rack guts and the patch panel as equipment is added and subtracted from the rack every so often, so I figured a little storage would be a better use of that space. The rack has a 10° slant backward, so I have to hold the drawer open to retrieve wires and whatnot, but it doesn't slam when I let go; it's not hydraulic or self closing but it's really close to that. All it's really missing is a couple of pull handles on the front side to enable easier removal; if I get around to customizing and adding my own, I'll update with some pics.

This utility drawer is very well built, very sturdy sliding arms. I tried other brands but this one is our favorite. We bought four more after getting the first one and seeing how good the quality was. It helped organize all the cables, mics, and pedals in different studio rooms. Good price too compared to other similar ones.

Big fan. Easy to install. Lightweight. The drawer doesn't "latch" shut, but for my needs it's not a deal breaker. Feels solid, looks great, fits well into a traditional rack! Super functional and enough room for simple small cable storage and batteries and such.

Solid, sturdy and does not stick

We have it installed on our 8U Gator case for our QSC Touchmix 8 audio board. it's a little too tight to plug in the XLR outputs, we have them permanently plugged in. We use velcro to keep the mixer board from falling off.

So close to being 5 stars. It fits perfect and does the job of a server rack sliding cabinet great. Metal quality and paint are also great too. But there are a few things I think make it 4 stars. The bottom is open. Meaning the sliding part can rub what is below it. Only matters for specific scenarios like mine. No mat for the bottom. Provided my own soft coverage. I don't know anyone that would want a metal cabinet without some cushion for expensive parts. Lock is easy broken into. Of course it is, but still a let down.
