bought this to start my seeds trays in my window, worked very well. But hard to determine how hot the mat was under the trays. Very easy to use, small enough for a normal windowsill

Works well. Helps plants thrive. Seems good quality

I don't use mine for seeds. I make my own sourdough and especially during the winter months, this helps my starter stay nice and warm, if I'm going to bake. I just loosely wrap it around my starter jar, on the lowest setting, and my starter grows nice and fast! Definite must-have, if you're trying to start a sourdough journey and are having trouble with cold starter.

it works, but my dislike is it does not have a on and off display light and the dial when you turn it don't feel smooth. price is good and im still happy with it

My alocasia had a lot of corms growing in but I couldn’t get them to grow in the window ledge even in the hot Tennessee summer. I set this up on a glass table top and within a month everybody had sprouted! My only complaint would be what I already knew from previous reviews, the dial doesn’t note the temps- I just slowly increased everyday til it felt right. For the price, it works great! (Note I covered the cups with plastic cups on top to keep humidity in!)

I used this for sourdough. It works well. The temperature is low enough in the lowest setting. Looks well built. So far so good.

I tested this heating pad with two different thermometers. The temp is adjustable, but inaccurate and not numbered on the dial. You can't mark on the dial to make it accurate, because the switch has so much give that it ends up in a different position every time. The minimum temperature is 80F. It comes rolled up but flattens out nicely. It does its job it's just not possible to dial it in without a thermometer. Due to the minimum temp being so high, this will need trial and error to get the result you want. I would go for one with a digital temp control if you can afford it, otherwise this works it's just more of a general heating pad than a germination pad.

This mat works well and has a nice temperature range on the dial, now it does not have any indicator to let you know what temp you are at so i do recommend you purchase an Infared thermometer with this mat. Also straight out of the box it is a bit wavy/lumpy but does flatten out after about a week of using. I have germinated my seeds in half the time using this mat.
