It did what every jeweler wouldn’t!
Awesome watch buckle. After almost 15 years I was finely able to get my Chase Durer fixed. The project itself was a pain because hoe they manufactured it. The buckle fit exactly and latches well. The 18mm didn’t feel any certain way to me like some other reviews mentioned. If you’ve got a conventional watch clasp this is a very easy swap. The finish was exactly the same also which was nice.

Great buckle - actually better built than the original.
Fits perfectly. solved my problem (old buckle lost the locking pin) - it included the tool and new pins. Very easy to install and I was back wearing my watch in minutes. ONE NOTE - the buckle may change the size of your band, overall. It took my old buckle (which was on the second to largest pin) - I have to use the smallest-size pin and it's still slightly larger. Not a big deal - I can take out a link, and I like it the way it is now - but something you may want to keep in mind. You can get a link removed from your band easily, if you need. DOES NOT CHANGE MY OPINION - this is a great buckle.

Good quality
Well made adjustable three fold clasp. Good replacement for unadjustabble clasp.

Great quality
Perfect for my watch hobby. Worked great on an inexpensive watch I was working on. Used or returned parts can often be a good value.

Decent solution to extend a bracelet
I bought this because the new Seiko I got was a little tight on my 8.5" wrist. This clasp it about 1/2" longer than the original clasp so it gave me the extra length I needed on the bracelet without having to hunt down additional links (which I couldn't find anywhere). So far it's working well, but you can feel that it's not quite as refined as the original clasp was so I took off 1 star due to that. Hope it holds up!

Makes any bracelet fit...
and that was a big deal for me. After recently becoming interested in watchmaking restoration, I decided to buy the quartz Armitron ($18} in the picture because it resembled the vintage style of watch I want to work on and because I have zero watchmaking experience (also zero style), so I thought it would be a good test to see if I like it and how to gauge what size of watch case works for me. On both accounts the Armitron nailed it! The only issue is my wrists are in between link sizes and the watch did not come with a micro adjust buckle. Actually, I didn't realize this when I bought it and when I discovered the sizing issue upon receipt, I thought it might turn out to be a poor purchase, regretful. But, rather than giving up I began to search whether buckles are replaceable, and that rabbit trail led me to this item. Got it today. Removed a couple links from the bracelet to downsize and give me full use of the buckle micro adjust. Now the bracelet fits perfect! For sizing the correct buckle to purchase, please do measure the end link clasp width. Mine measured 18.96 mm, so I went with the 20mm. Maybe the 18mm would have fit, but I didn't want to risk it. The buckle is finished pretty well IMO, and I do chuckle a bit knowing it cost more than the watch. However, I plan on keeping the watch indefinitely and will pass it down to my kids someday. Yes, even cheap quartz watches can last for generations, if taken well care of, and be worthy of an heirloom gifting. But frfr, if sizing is an issue or the buckle on your watch broke (assuming you don't go with a replacement original) you got to get this!

Good
Extremely solid clasp that arrived on time. It was a little tough to push closed at first but after some breaking in and several uses, it’s smooth and nice.

Elevated!
Easily installed (with tools included) as per accurate measurement—18mm clasp width on a 20mm lug distance. Looks good and wears good on the wrist. This has a substantial feel and weight, creating a notable improvement over any stock stamped clasp. Well brushed polished for the price and though the edges aren’t “smoothed” off, they also shouldn't make contact with your skin in such a way as to be abrasive during wear. Note: despite what the darkened images show, the SILVER color option is true to a standard, lighter shade that works well with stainless steel bracelets.

Purchased this 18mm milled clasp as a replacement for the stamped bracelet clasp on my new-model Seiko Samurai 'Mini'. Those well-versed in the Seiko brand will immediately recognize the 'issue' with the stamped clasps -- they work well but they're rattly and look like they're carved from a tin can. The build on this Chinese-made milled clasp is reasonably solid and seemingly a good deal for the price. With proper installation, it's a significant step up from the OEM clasp... though I would not call it a premium-engineered clasp. It functions as it should and mates well with the Seiko bracelet ends. The 6 micro-adjust holes make sizing easier and more precise. My primary if not only criticism would be the edge finishing. As others have commented, the underside edges and corners of the clasp and blades are a bit sharp -- feeling somewhat unfinished to the touch. This does not, at least on my wrist, feel uncomfortable or leave any marks; indeed, the clasp wears comfortably on my 6.75" wrist. Given the low cost of these Chinese-made clasps, I can't say I'm particularly surprised at the finishing. The stainless steel surface brushing is however nicely finished. Pictured are the 'before' and 'after' shots. The milled clasp classes-up my Seiko bracelet several notches. Just getting rid of the flimsy Seiko stamped clasp, with its obtrusive rarely-used diver's extension, and replacing it with this solid milled aftermarket clasp, does wonders for the overall look and feel of my Samurai Mini. Given the low cost of these milled clasps, and especially when even low-cost micro-brands are all using milled clasps, its an ongoing mystery to me why Seiko continues to use cheap stamped clasps on their otherwise well-built solid-link bracelets.
