A must-read, must-buy for any parent wishing to read to their children as it is guaranteed to become a staple in your daily routine. It only takes 10 minutes to read the book front to cover so don't be daunted, it grows on you very quickly no matter how old you are.

A lovely little book for kids. Dr. Suess's language is good for older kids to help them with their advanced phonics. The larger print means they can read along and the illustrations are super iconic. My boy loves this book before bedtime, it's a great way to get him to sleep.

This book was a favourite of mine from childhood, I loved Dr Suess and this was my favourite book. I've now bought it for my young neice so that she can enjoy it too (she does). The illustrations and stories are really good and capture the imagination of young children everywhere.

I love this book it was my favourite as a child I still have the orginal in hardback when it was very first published, but it is some what battered now, so I am trying to preseverve it & not use it anymore as it is so old. So this paperback version is great to browse through & read to anyone of any age its that good. Moose Juice not Goose Juice ties you up in Knots but it is so funny. The drawings are real interesting as well with creatures all shapes & sizes in nooks & crannys doing strange things. The chipping dale mutt biting is tale is a great drawing. Dr Seuss was brillant this has to be one of his best books.

Read to my little man when he was in hospital and is now his fave! It gives ‘yawn’ cues which we act out and makes him yawn now too 🥹 it’s quite long and the illustrations are large and colourful too

Great book. Daughter doesn’t necessarily fall asleep listening each time, as she enjoys it too much, but it definitely gets her ready for bed if she doesn’t drop off! How you can get bored reading this is beyond me! As for the length, yes it’s quite long, but what could be nicer than a decent, fun story time??

I discovered this book last year and can honestly say it's the best nighttime book we have ever read. We read it every single night. I don't even need the book to hand anymore, I know it off by heart. I know some reviews say it's too long but I think it's a decent length. Most books are too short for my toddlers to bother with. This is good middle ground in that it's not finished in 2 minutes but also not one that drags on endlessly.

Von einer umfangreichen Sammlung an tollen Dr. Seuss Büchern ist das der Favorit. Eigentlich wird nur erzählt, wie nach und nach immer mehr Kreaturen schlafen gehen. Langweilig ... oder? Nicht bei Dr. Seuss: skurrile Kreaturen oder Typen mit kuriosen Hobbies, lustig gereimt und mit liebevollen Bildern visualisiert. (Beispiel: ein katzenartiges Tier (Name gerade vergessen), das sich jeden Abend in den langen Schwanz beißt. Der Schwanz ist so lang, dass der Schmerz erst am nächsten Morgen ankommt und das Tier pünktlich weckt.) Achtung: Das Buch ist in Englisch. Das Sprachniveau ist anspruchsvoller als bei anderen Dr. Seuss Büchern (wie z.B: Green Eggs and Ham oder Cat in the Hat).

My daughter loved this book. Great that it is hard cover. Had the best part of this book the "this book is to be read in bed" page!

Very long book with too many words. So far, my kids didn’t get any interest on it. However, I can’t tell if the story is good or not.

I love Dr Seuss, and this book is the perfect intro to his work for my baby. It has been a part of her good night ritual ever since we bought it and she loves it. When she wasn't so mobile, we used to read it as far as her fussiness would let us. Eventually we realised we only got as fas as the first few pages every night... That happened around the same time that she started becoming more interested in touching everything, including tearing things apart. After the first tear we started to simply recite the first few pages because by then we had learnt them by heart. Last night when I started the first few lines, she looked me in the eyes and smiled knowingly. It melted my heart. I love this book and the moments it keeps giving our family.
