Great product with a caveat
Let me start by saying this is a great product and perfect fit for my 2010 GMC Sierra. However, there is a major caveat everyone with a 2007-2013 GMC Sierra 1500 needs to be aware of. By default, this truck has no cabin filter. GMC evidently engineered the compartment for a cabin filter, then sealed it off. You can’t just pop open this compartment. You will have to get some cutting tools. I used both a utility knife combined with an oscillating multi tool. Personally, a dremel would be your best option. You will have to physically cut through hard plastic to open the compartment, but once opened, the provided filter slides in, and so does the plastic cover that comes with it, allowing you to close off the new filter. By doing the hard work now, you’ll be able to install cabin filters easily in the future. If you watch YouTube, a lot of commenters on this install remark how surprised they were that GMC engineered the vehicle like this. A really stupid design given they made the compartment but decided to seal it off, with no filter inside. Job takes maybe 10 mins (or a little more) to complete. You might bust a knuckle like I did cutting with the utility knife as you will need to exert a good amount of hand and arm strength to slice through the plastic. Kudos to the seller for making this great product available
