My quest for a new watch begun after seeing the Omega Speedmaster Professional watch which retails for either £2800 or £3400 depending on whether you want the true space version or the dressier one. It's a stunning looking watch that my wallet simply cannot support, considering it costs around £400 to service it every 4 years so I'll never ever own one. I've always liked a nice watch but I'm certainly not an enthusiast, I had to google what a chronograph was when I saw this watch but it caught my eye being that it screams speedmaster at me. It's similar dimensions too so I can somewhat imagine how it feels to wear an Omega, but with change from £100 and made by a company who also make my calculator, good old Casio. The extent of my watch knowledge, review wise is that it looks great, closest I could see to the Omega, love the stopwatch function. Looks a lot more expensive than it was and instead of £400 per service, I'll use the old watch guy in the town who'll put a new battery in for a fiver. Note that I didn't buy this to try and make people think I have a speedmaster but I love the style of it and this is very close for a good price. Review: Eye candy with very good quality. - This watch is a very good looking timepiece. You will definitely get comments about it. It sits comfortably on your wrist and its weight is very nice, without tiring you. It is on the big side, but nothing chunky like you see these days. It is just about right. The strap will probably need 3/4 links removed depending on your wrist's size obviously. It has been keeping the time quite accurately and looks like it will be doing so for a long time. The only real disappointment is the flourescent glow at night which is not as bright as I had hoped.
