Excellent quality item, as advertised. Be aware there is no cables with it to connect to a battery.

Really great inverter. Haven’t had long and have only used a few times. I regret not going with the 3000 watt. I’ll probly have to sell this one then buy the 3000. I don’t believe this one will run my ac unit. Update I plan on running a 5000 btu window unit off this inverter, but didn’t want to spend the money till I knew it would run it. Yesterday I hooked a 8000 btu window unit I already had that was rated for 6.8 amps continuos and probly somewhere around 15-20 amps on start up. This little 1000 watt inverter ran it with no issues at all. Go power will be my choice from now on.

Would deserve 5 * except for the cooling fan which sounds terrible, like other reviewers noted. Good documentation for installation and operation. Compact, fits into my truck camper where space is at a premium.

I bought this inverter to use during the power outages that happen fairly often here in central Florida. So far, however, I haven't done more than try a few small appliances to see how the inverter works. It seems to be sturdily built. It operates quietly, at least with the low-watt appliances I used to test it. I wish that it had a USB port, but it is only a minor inconvenience having to use a standard plugin adapter.
