Kaytee Perfect Chews for Chinchillas

The chinchilla tore this up in no time , it was in pieces and chewed up !

This toy worked well for my chinchilla. She has not destroyed it completely after about a month of play. However, she seems to prefer the metal kabob toy more than this toy. I believe that it might have something to do with the size of the toy: this chew toy is quite small. I can put larger blocks of wood and a greater assortment of chews on the metal kabob, but the chews on this toy are in a fixed position and changing the order/size of the chews isn't an option. However, like I said, it seems to work well and hold up nicely.

My chinchilla found this as soon as I put it in her cage. She played with it nonstop for two days, at which point it was completely gone, she'd chewed the whole thing. Not durable, but it doesn't need to be. It's a great chew toy for rodents.

My chinchilla seems to really like it, and has fun. The toy does its job! It, however, did have most of its components fall off after about a week or two, but i cannot complain too much because of the cost.

Giving this a middle of the road rating because Mr Floppy was able to destroy it in a single evening. I left the different pieces from the destroyed chewy hammer in his cage and he continues to chew them but I have to find them all each time I clean which is a pain in the butt

Only reason why I rated a 3 on durability is because it lasted about 2 days before the animals ate them all up. Have always bought these and always will. They are cheaper on here than most places. Recommend for all small animals as I have several types. All love them.

I have a few of these in my chins cage. Chewing helps maintain her tooth length and is nice for whens she's bored. However there were a few instances where she chewed the toy off of the key chain but hey. What are you gonna do
