This tea is perfect to drink in the morning for a quick pick me up, as an alternative to coffee. Tastes great too

Not cheap but you get what you pay for and imo every bag is worth every penny. Shame they don't do larger 50 bag packs as I'd certainly buy them.

I got these as a silly present for a friend, he say they are really tasty however they burn you TWICE !

I love them but probably not for everyone … warming chilli flavoured tea with a cardamom pod too.

Best chilli chai on the market. Lovely warmth and spice. Only downside is that it doesn’t have a lot of colour/depth - this makes it quite pale when adding milk

Love this tea it has a real Kick to it. I have been having the normal chai tea for a while which is also lovely but this one is quite nice for in the evenings. I have recently given up sugar so this is a nice thing to have as a treat and it genuinely feels like one!

If (as might be the case) we all taste different food and drink differently – what might be sweet to one person might not be to someone else, or what might be hot to me, might not be to someone else. So bearing our own individual tastes in mind, I feel I should say that I find the picture of a fire extinguisher on the packet of “Teapigs Chilli Chai 15 Tea Temples” to be somewhat misleading, as I didn’t find this tea to be particularly hot. I don’t have a great deal of hot chillies in my diet, nor do I put Tabasco Sauce on my food in great quantities, but I do appreciate the kick that one can get from chilli – and I’ve not particularly found it with this tea, neither the kick or the taste of chilli. I enjoyed the Chilli Chai blend, but found the most noticeable flavours to be tea (not surprisingly) and clove. The three star rating reflects the lack of chilli (to my taste) and also how I find this tea compared with other chai blends that I’ve had before. The Ingredients as given on the box are: Assam Tea (37%) Cinnamon (15%) Ginger (13%) Cardamom Pods (10%) Cardamom Seeds (10%) Cloves, Chilli (5%) Vanilla (2%)

Bought as part of a tea set - making up a hamper set for my partner as he likes his different teas - TeaPigs are one of his favourite brands & know he will love these. Will update you with this one once he has had a cup.

I was expecting this to be hotter than it was. It's not very spicy at all. Harney & Sons Black Tea, Hot Cinnamon Spice is a lot spicier and better in my opinion, plus a better deal. It's not a bad tea, it's just not what I was expecting from a Chilli Chai tea.

This tea was very tasty, but I was expecting a lot spicier - there's a fire extinguisher on the packaging, after all. It's definitely spiced, and I really liked it, it just wasn't especially fiery - which is what I was looking for.
