The kit as a whole was pretty good. The dash kit fit perfectly. My only small complaint is that the AC relocation template was a little off, but that could be user error. Once I put the whole kit together you couldn't really tell that the template holes were a little off.

First off, the finish is gloss plastic, it needs to be finished more like the corvette interior, but there is "Wrinkle" paint available that sort of works ok. Second, I had to re-cut the entire radio area so that it would fit a standard 7" android head. What is going on here, this is advertised for a 7" android head and yet it doesn't fit a standard 7" android head???? The unit also does not fit snugly and it does not "channel" the passenger side moulding properly. Took all day to sort out issues with this unit, but once I did all the mods to make it work as advertised, it looked pretty ok.

Amazing product. No complaints at all. Had to modify the cig outlet (or whatever it's called) to fit an USB adapter, and cutting the plastics was easy with no concern of the piece cracking. There is also NO NEED to paint. A quality interior shine did the trick. Alignment of the relocated AC unit was easy as well. I would drill out the rivets for the old stereo mounts. Don't cut them.

Really good fit, finish as received matches up well to the existing 2001 c5 interior. Excellent value for the price.

not the Metra part at all. Misleading title. Brackets that support the radio do not position the radio properly, they are simply mirror images of each other. The right bracket needs to be offset to allow the radio to sit properly. We had to fabricate a bracket for the right hand side to get it to sit right, an extra hour or so of work. Not recommended.
