Sena Helmet Clamp Kit - Attachable Boom Microphone & Wired Microphone

I have added several of these kits to helmets over the years. They work well. I just fitted this to a Nolan 105. I had to cut a small rectangular aperture in the plastic trim of the helmet but then it clamped up well and ends up in a good position.

Easy to fit & puts the mike in a far better position that the standard kit where the mike boom is attached directly to the mount for the communicator.

I use them for my work helmets ( I'm a tree surgeon) and motobike helmet. The only issue is the wire to the speakers should be a bit longer for a easier install as I couldn't get one of them perfect without compromising the placement of the unit. Perfect for my work helmet as the unit is at the back of the helmets.

I have owned a few of these bases over the years and they always fail at the flexible headphone socket (As others here have described) NO MORE! The unit I received has been updated to a solid port and I couldn't be happier. It won't break the wiring and it's easier to find with gloves on. The attached photo shows the old design and the new one above.

If you’re looking to replicate you’re sena smh10 in dual helmets, swapping the main unit between them, this is ideal. Now I have two helmets set up and I just plug the main unit into the one I’m using that day. Quick delivery and a genuine product at a good price.

With the bell sena mag 9 helmet the smh10 intercom mounts 10mm into the side of the helmet so it doesn't protrude a lot and this clamp fits on the inside holding the boom Mike and speakers and all the connections for the intercom. Perfect fit

Fits the Bell dlx qualifier perfectly, although it doesn't change the wind noise levels, no worse or better in that respect. Definitely a neater fit and the Sena doesn't get scratched when I put the helmet down 👌

had to adapt it to fit my helmet the rim of the helmet is different to normal helmets and the clip did not fit so i use double sided tape to stick it on and this seems ok.

This particular purchase required me to return the item. The sound was not loud enough. There was also distortion and the rt side cut in and out. I compared the unit to a previously purchased Sena Clamp kit, and the old one blew this one away. I'm assuming that it is just a bad unit and not indicative of a product gone bad.I am skeptical about the pin connectors, though. I disconnected and reconnected the connects several times, hoping to achieve better results. Sometimes I got luckier than other times. This seems like a weakness in the newer, more modular units. Maybe mine was just screwed up. I'm reordering another on- it better work! BTW, It's beeing install in a Bell RS-1 (full face road helmet)

Has everything to mount on a helmet, works good for the generation of these head sets.

I needed a second clamp so I could use the unit with either of my helmets. It worked exactly as I expected, Sena does a great job with their products and this was no exception.
