BenQ Webcam Accessory for ScreenBar Halo, Dark Grey

I got a monitor light, but not the BenQ brand. It also has a small platform that would fit this webcam adaptor. While I thought the price was a bit steep for what you get, you're paying for what it does. I did read the other review that used a drill-press to drill a hole in his. I found that if you're willing to not have the adaptor be flush with the edge, it works just fine without drilling. The magnet is strong to the metal plate. A bit of a plus that it did arrive about 5-6 days sooner than Amazon's estimated time of delivery.

I don’t have the light bar they say this is made for. I have a quantis bar. As long as your bar has a flat surface that is about1 square inch you can place the metal plate and attach the mount to it. Mount works great and get the camera up and over the light bar. Also saw in 1 review where someone cut a hole in this to pass the light bar power cord through. PLEASE DON’T DO THAT! Get a $6 90degree adapter like I have in the photo and you won’t need to cut a hole in your brand new product. Works great!

I use my iPhone for Zoom calls, with a CapStone magnetic holder that has a sort of clamp to hold it to the top of a laptop or monitor. It didn't hold on to my monitor well and when I added the BenQ lamp it didn't want to hold onto the lamp at all. This little thing is magnetic and creates a nice vertical block that the phone holder clamps onto very nicely. I'm glad I have it.

Bought this with the potential for returning, not knowing whether or not it would be useful for my use case. Turns out that when you use the BenQ halo light bar on a 49 inch ultrawide, you almost need this just to act as a counter balance or else the added weight of the webcam forces the light to slip.. which it already does without anything on top. Could probably make something that is of the same quality but if you’re just looking for something that works, this will do it. Kinda pricey for what it is though.

$20 for a piece of plastic with a magnet and some sticky tape. Personally, seems like a rip off but I love the lightbar and this allows me attach my webcam to it. I really think that this should come with the lightbar considering this can’t cost much to produce and the lightbar retails for $180. However, does what it says, and does it well. *shrug*

Not much to say, it’s made for the BENQ halo light bar and magnetically sits on top perfectly to create a little ledge for you to hang your webcam on it. Just a slight warning that with the addition of the halo + webcam holder…. It’s very much a noticeable difference for my eyeline to the camera and shows up on screen. If that’s important to you, just prepare to either lower your monitor (if you’re able to)

Easy installation and go a heat job holding the camera, fit with almost all the cámaras, good stability and the price is very decent.

I never thought of a computer peripheral as something that could bring you health benefits, but aside from an ergonomic mouse, these montitor/screen lights can definitely do that for you. Since using them, I have stopped rubbing my eyes or even have that tired glazed eyes feeling after looking away from the screen from being in front of the computer screen for hours (guilty as charged). So glad I invested in these for work, and backlights do indeed do a great job as well for when you watch movies or game (just make sure the screen is near the wall for max benefits). Sure there similar products that cost less, but the benefits of the front and back lights, effective remote operation (now I even wish my mouse has this smooth dial) and easy attachments far outweigh the incremental cost. I did wince at the price initially, but I don’t regret it now. Super product that’s fun to use and most of all, life saver for my eyes.

Great accessory to my Apple PRO Display XDR!. It certainly helps to provide a solid connection for my LogiTech MX Brio webcam onto my ScreenBar Halo.
