The can stuff wont work. This is a cool little gift that comes in handy for emergencies, it strikes like a match with a good flame. There is a video that demonstrates the way you fill it and how to strike it. The best thing I like about this is that it is very good quality, it is as heavy as a roll of coins (nickles).
