This little unit has so many features packed in such a small package. When the SHTF, this will be my goto device to find out what's going on. The unit has 440 memory channels that you can save frequencies important to you. It allows for either manual entry of the frequency or you can have the unit search manually for signals, then save to a memory location. OR, the unit can scan AUTOMATICALLY and store found signals into memory locations for you. This is a fantastic feature especially for Shortwave Listening. (When doing shortwave, it's better to do this in the evenings when the propagation is better for the low frequencies. You'll get receive more stations then.). The unit sports AM/FM, Short Wave (AM only), MP3 with the included MicroSD card reader, A voice Recorder with built-in Mic, and can act as a bluetooth speaker. Very impressive for such a small little unit. The radio comes with a. nicely written manual with plenty of illustrations. it is easy to use, however many of the buttons have multiple uses, so keep the manual handy so you can get the most out of your radio. The kit came with the radio, a 1000mv Lithium Ion battery, and a USBA to MicroUSB charging cable. It also has a handy wrist strap attached. I am truly amazed that there is so much capability in such a small pocket sized unit. Don't expect that you will get the same reception as you would from a Large SDR Radio with a large antenna. That's not what this unit is meant for. For what this radio provides, it's a steal. I can recommend this radio without any hesitation.

The battery life is short. The charging time is long. The bluetooth distance is about 12 feet. The buttons along the side are hard to read. The idea for the UI is fine, but the quality of the product is terrible.

This is a nice little radio. It is well made. The buttons are a little small but they work well. It has a decent digital display. There are a lot of functions, so I suggest having the instruction manual handy. Performance- AM band has good reception of up to ~60-75 miles. FM band receives stations up to 30-50 miles. The SW band pulls in just 1 or 2 stations. Let’s be honest. To get any decent reception on SW you need a MUCH longer antenna. You can get a long wire antenna from Amazon for around $15. BUT, you’re then defeating the compact size and portability of the radio. The one area of performance that I’m a little disappointed with is playing time per charge. I’m getting about 5-6 hours of play. Supposedly, you can use the radio while it’s charging. So, I sent for a 6 foot charging cable. The radio uses a USB A to USB C cable. The users manual says USB A to Micro USB. This is INCORRECT! I tried using a charging cable with Micro USB and it DID NOT fit. I submitted a question to the Amazon community. The manufacturer responded, saying it is actually USB C. So, there you have it. If you want a compact radio with decent AM/FM performance, this is a good choice at a reasonable price. I wish playing time was longer. And if you are looking for good SW performance, there are better choices. As always, YMMV.
