Wonderful!
I live in a small studio apartment and it’s positioned in a way where if I had the door opened, a relaxing wind current flows in and through the apartment. I bought this specific screen door over others because of the reviews: There was a review with a really pretty picture of the screen door at a nice looking apartment balcony, and another review saying that customer service was great. Upon checking other similar items, I ended up going with this brand because of the said reviews. I’m glad I did. The product is fantastic. It’s definitely built for rental properties as it doesn’t require any permanent fixings to be able to use this screen door. The screen is really nice. It looks pleasing to the eye even though it’s not made of tough, durable material (it’s a strong mesh material, but not like made of woven metal or anything, which is totally fine for me! Makes the weight of the door light and portable!). But for a rental unit, this is perfect. It definitely has kept flies and other bugs out of our apartment, so I’m thankful for that. I ended up using the black 3M command strips for the adhesive. This is so that I can remove the adhesives if/whenever I move out, without peeling off any paint. The 3M command strips work like a charm and I definitely recommend that addition to your screen door too. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this product. It is an aesthetic and functional screen door that fits with the dimensions of our unit and is suitable for rental properties. Sometimes I stop to look at the screen door because it just looks so chic and pretty and wonderful. It retracts well and definitely adds an elevated element to our old apartment building. I think it will hold up well. I really do think it’s a wonderful, great product. Yay!

THESE SCREENS ARE A LIFE GAMECHANGER!
I can not say enough good things about these screens. We live on the river and have 3 cats, have always had indoor cats that can not go outside. We have a lovely breeze, live in Daytona Beach, Florida, and have our windows open 6 months out of the year. Since we are on the river, we don’t get a lot of bugs, but don’t want the cats to get out. We often propped open the doors but had to locate the cats, put them in a closed room, etc. Finally we decided to give these screen doors a try. Both our sliders and our front door are not standard settings, so my son came over and measured per the instructions (which he said were easy to follow). I was very hesitant about putting up ugly screen doors that would show inside our house because our front door opens out and the sliders had to be on the outside, too. And I was worried about the cats getting out under or breaking through, and our son’s dog who comes to visit, also getting out. They arrived quickly, nicely packed, and my son easily installed them. THEY ARE PERFECT! They are barely noticeable from inside the house, they are strong - no animals escape! No bugs get in! The breeze through our house is wonderful! And an added bonus is that they are like an accordion with little creases so although they are see-through, they are noticeable enough that no one would accidentally walk through them. They slide easily and connect magnetically so you don’t have to unlatch them constantly. Everyone loves them, I have had to give the Seller’s info to friends who have purchased because they love ours. The slider screens are great - you can open half going in and out, and this is a great design. If I could give 10 stars, I would do so. We have had them for months, I have waited to write this review to be sure they hold up, and they are as good now as the day they were installed. Thank you for such a wonderful product!

Saved Me From Insanity!
My new apartment balcony door was this heavy door without a mesh screen. My cats would ALWAYS run out to the balcony as soon as I opened the door - which is partially my doing as I am training them to be comfortable with the outdoors so that we can start going on harnessed hikes and walks. My kitten had an interest in walking along the railing and I knew there would be a day where he jumps 4 stories down. Living in San Diego, I desperately desired the breezy, movie nights in a Friday but I could never leave the door open without standing at it the whole time to make sure these little nuggets don’t jump. I decided to bite the bullet and ordered the screen door bc it was the ONLY solution that 1) seemed effective and 2) wasn’t hideous. Sure enough, my cat jumped down 4 stories and my other kitten came to warn me. I was so thankful that my screen door would be arriving within a few days. This was pretty much preassembled but the mesh screen strings at the top kept making the door stuck from opening properly. What I did to fix this was take a serious look at how it was designed and what was going wrong. I then detached the pre-assembled SIDE panels, fix the string configuration and reattached them. This did the trick. The tape they provide is EXTREMELY strong but still didn’t damage the door frame. The mistake I made was that I placed more tape along the sides than what was needed and this made inserting the door more annoying than it should have been. Because the tape is so strong, it immediately sticks to the side panels which makes readjusting challenging. So just keep this in mind. Even if your measurements are off by an inch or so, as long as you positions the screen door to site on the bottom comfortably, the most important measurement is your width. This is bc you NEED the screen door to be securely taped to the sides for proper opening and closing. But the height is not nearly as important. It’s more important if you’re worried about aesthetics (so that no spacing shows). Mine ever so slightly off, but once assembled, you can barely tell. My width was spot on and this allowed the panels to to stick strongly so that even with force from sliding the screen open and close constantly, it doesn’t even budge. The mesh is good quality. In fact, my oldest cat (18 years old) didn’t realize there was a screen and accidentally ran into the first time. Although the mesh screen is black, it it quite transparent and that was something I appreciated so much being that it’s right in my living room. Although the mesh is strong, it is not cat proof. My cat has climbed, bit and does everything he could to use it as a toy. There is some training involved with this, so I purchased deterrent spray and am hoping that will work. Even with his climbing though, the screen door has held up. He has made holes into it which I will patch with clear nail polish, and I’m not sure how much climbing it will take, but that is not the responsibility of the door lol. Anyway, I am now enjoying the beautiful breeze during moving nights and I am SO THANKFUL this thing exists!!!! My last apartment didn’t have front door screen and I wish I knew of this at that time. To have this solution is a huge win.

Animal parents beware
What is the point of reviewing when Amazon won’t show all the reviews….. covering for a lying company It is not pet proof as it claims. Idk how a piece of string at the top and bottom is supposed to be secure for a 17.5 bowling ball of a cat. Not to mention string isn’t that durable. Regardless of the pet issue and how unsafe it is for a pet. How reliable is a piece of string. I feel lied to and I want to return this Also the company claims it’s willing to work with you. That is a lie as well instead of they insulted my cats weight and tried to suggest veterinarian advice like putting lemon next to the door. I got the screen door for the cat. If it’s not pet proof it’s pointless. I cat needed to go to the vet because this company lied

Top notch French door screen option!
I was concerned about ordering this screen door as there were several variables that could have derailed the project. The first was the accuracy of my measurements. I triple checked to make sure they were correct. A heads up is to measure the height and width at several locations in the doorway. I’d say at each end and at least one in the middle. Most doorways are not completely square. If you find a variation, I would go with the shorter dimension as you won’t be able to force an oversized frame into position, especially across the short dimension but you can expand the frame somewhat. So if the frame fits nicely say in the middle of the doorway but there’s an 1/8” gap at the top and bottom, you should be able to flex the frame enough to get it to adhere to the two sided tape at the top and bottom. I was a little taken back by the slightly deceptive pricing for the unit. There was a base price which was under $100. When I went to enter the width and length that I needed, each measurement added a charge. I get that each door is going to vary in price based upon the size ordered but it was a little sketchy the way it worked. Anyway, once I added my measurements, it was around $250. Once it came in I checked it over thoroughly and everything seemed to be in good condition. I assembled the unit on an old sheet on a bed. I made sure I cleaned the area where the two sided tape was going with rubbing alcohol It was quite easy to install and I have to say that it’s really, really nice! The weight of the screen material is excellent and the way it accordion fold when you open it is a great design. I installed this at my in-laws apartment in their French doors and now everybody wants one! This was a definite home run.

This is a great screen
I am absolutely thrilled with this screen door. At first, I was a little scared to order because the size is custom and you can't return it. I'm so glad I decided to take a chance Note of caution...make sure to read the instructions very carefully on how to measure your door frame and then measure 3 or 4 times to make sure you have the right dimensions. It was delivered when promised and packaged very well. It was very easy to put together and appears to be made of good solid material. I also love the design of the screen itself. I live in an apartment complex and I'm pretty limited with any choices of a screen but this makes it easy to get a nice breeze, looks great and is definitely worth the money. The only thing that I found to be a little frustrating was putting the frame in place with the tape. It's not that the instructions were bad. However, if your door frame isn't even, there are going to be really, really tight places and I found it to be challenging. After a lot of swearing, maneuvering and readjusting the tape I was finally able to get the screen frame plum with the door frame. My suggestion is to put the frame of the screen in place and only tape the areas where there are some gaps. Once the tape is peeled, even the way they show you to do it, the thickness of the tape in those tight areas makes it difficult to readjust because the tape is stuck to the door frame. A little patience goes a long way. With that aside, I would definitely recommend this company and this product.

Nice Quality - Won’t Keep a Cat Out!
If you wanted this just as a screen to keep bugs out it should be fine. I was ready to give this almost 5 stars but not now. I bought this to keep my cat from going into my Man Cave and break things. Only took 2 days for him to discover he is able to squeeze right under the bottom of the screen so big fail! Now this thing is solidly in place so have to come up with a secondary barrier for the bottom. Installed it this weekend and fit well, very tight, had to cut 1/4” off the bottom Aluminum trim piece for width issue, but assume that was because to door jam opening wasn’t square enough. The instructions are not the best and the QR code for a video on the instructions doesn’t work. The corner, cosmetic pieces snapped on at the end are different between top and bottom, so note before installing them. The double sided tape is 3M and good, but depending on clearance a challenging install. I was able to manage it except the protective paper on the bottom trim tore because it was so tight. If you had a cat with claws this would definitely be bad news. I thought the strings across the panel would be the weak link. I acquired my 1 year old cat a month ago and he was declawed already. Anyway good quality and function but if you need something to retain a cat from entering or leaving this is NOT it!

Cool breezes
This is a great screen door! It functions smoothly and the way it snaps shut is super satisfying. When the door accordions back into its housing it is virtually invisible. It’s just a nice clean look. Seriously, this screen door is a lifestyle changer. We can now bring the breeze into our house and keep the mosquitoes out. Our home is now comfortably cool with the added and unexpected benefit of hearing our wind chimes when the screen door is open. It’s actually more than I had hoped for haha. Who knew a screen door could make our summer so much nicer? We are no longer trapped in our stuffy hot home. I had a question and was impressed with the customer service I received; responses were quick, kind, and professional. They stand by their product as they should. Great screen door, great company. Five Stars!
