We bought this as our Freesat is infrared and we’ve recently put it behind the tv. We needed this so we can have a connection between the Freesat and the remote. Without this, we can’t use the remote. We’ve got it stuck to the bottom of our tv.

Works really well and sensibly priced

I found this easy to set up and works very well, the receiver is behind a dark glass door and other end is stuck on TV near the eye. And this is all working ok. It’s good value. My tv usb is always on even on stand by so it’s always powered which you need to turn tv on. The leads are not a great length but perfect for me.The remote control only needs to be pointing in the general direction for it to work.
