If the house was burning down I'd consider saving my globals.
Get a sharpener too, fab knives, I have one that is 15 years old and still going strong. Just because they are japanese and folded like a Samurai sword don't use them as throwing knives, treat them with respect, don't leave them wet, keep them sharp and they are the best kitchen device I have by a long way.

Pefection
This is the best knife I have ever owned. Easy to hold in the hand whilst chopping and "sharp as a knife". It's in constant use and the size seems to cover almost every need. If I could afford to buy the set I would without hesitation, but as I have said, this size fits all.

Amazing knife
I chose this knife because I was fed up with having trouble cutting food .It was recommended by a colleague. Expensive but worth every penny. so easy to use and no pressure required especially if you have weak wrists like me

My favourite knife
For me this is the ideal multi-purpose kitchen knife. I use it almost every day and I find its balance and performance perfect. Keeps an edge well and, treated carefully, has stayed in perfect condition for months.

good quality knife...
...which I bought as a slightly used item at a much reduced price. Highly recommended by Which and it is pretty impressive, though not quite as razor sharp as some unbranded japanese knives I bought some while ago.

Quality product
This knife like all other Global products I have purchased is of excellent quality and will perform over many years. I would recommend to anyone interested in cooking who wants to use very good knives.

Global at its best
I now have 5 pieces of Global equipment and this knife really is the icing on the cake. The weight, size and balance are all second to none, as is the ability to hold an edge. I own the Minosharp ceramic sharpener and hardly ever have to use it. Don't delay buy Global tody.
