STA429527 Wallpaper Paste Brush 130 x 40mm

Absolutely fantastic, works great for pasting wallpaper. This is the first brush that hasn’t gone rusty after first day of wallpapering

Excellent pasting brush. Bristles stay put. Hook on the handle keeps the brush dangling firmly on the side of the pasting table whilst you prepare or hang your next sheet of wallpaper. Easy to wash and reuse.

Used it to apply paste to wallpaper. Seems durable and decent quality. Nice wide brush head. Didn’t shed or leave any bristles behind on the paper and helped the paste to be evenly spread. Also has a useful hole on the end of the handle so it can be easily stored on a hook rather than getting squashed and misshapen whilst not in use. Lost a star for the price as it is quite overpriced in my opinion.

Does exactly what it was designed for!

I chose this brush because it doesn’t have a metal ferrule to go rusty on me. The handle itself is sturdy and the brush washed well. That’s the good bit. The brush itself isn’t that great though because the bristles are too rigid. I had to keep looking at my pasted wallpaper from different angles because bits kept getting missed. I put this down to there being insufficient flexibility in the bristles to successfully completely cover the area you are trying to brush over. I lost count of the amount of times I had to go back over areas that I had definitely brushed over but didn’t have paste applied in small spots. Annoying. I expected better from Stanley.

I had one of these years ago and lost it. It was a no brainer to buy another one , makes pasting paper easy , with an attachment for hanging on your bucket.

Fantastix brush best one I've bought yet handle doesn't come loose nice and sturdy.
