Works great with the AC
Before I got this Adamson bed cooling system, I set my AC at 18°C and would wake up during the night because my back would be hot. This cooling system now balances the cooling on my body as it cools my back. When you set it up for the first time, you have to slowly fill it with about 2.5L of clean water. It consumes water whenever it's turned on, so after about 8-9 hours of sleep with it turned on, about 1 litre of water will have evaporated. I fill it until below the Max line on the device on a daily basis.

Doesn't really do much
I followed the instructions exactly and it really doesn't do much. I hated it. The fan was also super loud

Have been using it for the last 2 weeks under a topper and all i can say, its not well built. Refilling the tank could lead to leakage (not even due to over pouring) but the stopper beneath is just not enough to stop leaking. i've tried multiple way to refill the water tank and even tried replacing the stopper but non of it worked. Now i've a towel permanently beneath it and require to change the towel every use. Cooling function does work, just that water refilling (2.5L) requires to be done everyday for a 8 hour use, which is troublesome. Definitely expected a better equipment for the price paid.

This is like the cool side of the pillow all the time. Even on its lowest setting (p4) is enough to stay cool and comfortable throughout the night. I usually run a portable air conditioner that blows cold air over me but still get sweaty when lying down. After running this on high, it was too cold, and the lowest setting is enough for me to be able to wear flannel pajamas and only have a fan on (not a/c running) which saves money on running the compressor vs running the tiny little water pump in this device. Overall win and I foresee this type of cooling to be eventually built into mattresses instead of an add-on. for now, I'm grateful to have one, and it's been a few weeks of fantastic, comfortable sleeping. Not only can I wear winter pajamas (which are more comfy) but a blanket too. Once you run one of these, you won't be able to not have one...it's probably the best thing I've found in years for quality of life. things that could use improvements: 1. water reservoir is about 7 cups, it will last 8+ hours on low but why does it evaporate at all? 1a> Why doesn't it use coolant like a car and have a sealed system that doesn't need to be replenished? 2. Mine is new, and to keep it clean, I add a tiny bit of white vinegar to the water each day... 2a> this should be in the manual... note: never mix vinegar with bleach, if you use either, never switch. 3. The reservoir lid is snug and snaps in place too securely. When it opens, it's a skinny slot that gets water, and the lid snaps back in place but can be lost, or feels like it can easily be broken. 3a> This is a tank that needs daily maintenence...why isn't there an easier way to accomplish this, or have a lid with a funnel to prevent any spills.... I personally added a few strips of tape to the lid, so it can slide back and not fall but why isn't this an easier task? 4. at least an optional double hose extender... it's okay for me now but I would pay extra to have this further away from my bed...again, I love this device, these are merely things to consider. 5. the cooling pad slides around a bit...not a ton, but enough to notice. 5a> add a bit of rubber to the bottom of the pad. 5b> work out a deal with a waterproof sheet company to incorporate a few bits of velcro to their sheets and you can add the opposite velcro to the pad and make a perfect combination where the pad stays exactly where it's supposed to be. I can sew this on myself, but again, I would pay a bit extra for it to be done profesionally... the current straps work but could be so much better with minimal costs. 6. This cools, but could there be a heater mode where it warms the water circulation ? Overall: This product is one of those life changing devices and I'm so grateful it's been invented, produced, and marketed in such a small and efficient little package that provides much needed relief. Highly recommended for anyone who gets hot.

Verdaderamente si enfría la superficie donde lo he colocado. Lo puse por debajo de una sabana de satin para darle un plus y me ha funcionado al punto que ya no dejo el ventilador encendido como lo hacía antes

As someone who can’t regulate their temperature and has heat intolerance, I really don’t know how I coped before buying this! This summer is the first that I have had any sleep without tossing and turning all night thanks to this machine! It’s annoying and a bit of a hassle having to empty and clean it every 2 weeks, but for the benefit I get from it it’s well worth the hassle. I love the various speed and setting options, depending on how hot it is. I sleep with earplugs in anyway, so I can’t comment on the noise as I don’t hear it. I do kind of hear it in the mattress through the earplugs when I lie down, but it definitely doesn’t affect my sleep. I can see me still using it in the winter too on the lowest setting, as I usually still get too hot even in winter with just a sheet and blanket. Maybe having this would enable me to actually use a duvet and get snuggled up without overheating… we shall see. But I highly recommend it and will be panicking as soon as anything happens to this one, which hopefully won’t be for a long time! I just wish the connection where the pipes go into the mattress pad was positioned higher up the pad, so it was right at the top under the pillow, as I end up lying on it, but it’s not bad enough to disturb my sleep. The only other thing I would change about it would be for the remote to somehow actually show what setting it is on and what you are changing it to, without having to sit up when I’m lying comfortably to look on the top of the machine to see the setting numbers. Even if the setting numbers showed on the side of the machine that would be more helpful than them being on the top, so I could still see them while lying down. But all in all, I wouldn’t be without it and it was definitely worth every penny to me!
