Beautiful, legible, automatic
These are lovely clocks - picked a couple up, very legible and easy to read - love the colour options. These are radio controlled clocks, note that signal tends to be best overnight so they may need to be left alone to find the signal overnight. I think some simple instructions either on the box or as a slip in the box would be appreciated - just because there are some buttons on the back, for example 'rec' which I assume means 'search for signal', as well as a set and reset button - but generally you'll want to just pop a battery in these and leave them alone to do their thing - quality better than I expected for the price, pleasantly surprised - British brand which is nice to support. Clock is very quiet, I have much smaller analogue clocks which click much more loudly.

Great clock, good value but Instructions should be provided to aid proper setup.
Very good value and works well. No instructions provided; this could be a problem if you are not familiar with radio controlled clocks and do not know that they have a mind of their own! The basic method is to fit the battery, put it near a north facing window, watch it do it's thing and leave it alone overnight: in the morning it will have picked up the radio signal and set itself (usually). Sometimes complications do arise, so instructions should really be included. Otherwise a good clear and accurate clock that will set itself when the clocks go forward and back. Use a good AA battery and it shold easily run for more than one year without any attention, but keep it a few feet from any electronic devices that might generate radio interference. A good buy.

Good clock but zero setup instructions.
This clock would have earned 5 stars but for the fact that there wasn't a single word with it on how to set it up. When I tried it set itself to 12.00 and then simply stopped. So, I took the battery out and tried again, same result. In fact, the same result on 5 attempts. It was then that I decided that it didn't work and so I requested and was granted a return. Then I decided to find another suitable clock to purchase and looked through almost the whole list, avoiding all Acctim products, of which there are a great many. I just happened to be looking at the listing for a run of the mill clock when I noticed the advice it gave; "Once the clock has set to 12.00 leave it for a few minutes whilst it establishes connection with the atomic clock. BINGO. I tried this on the Acctim and after a wait of a couple of minutes it showed me the correct time. As it was not an ugly clock I decided to cancel my return and keep the clock. It is now operating perfectly in my bedroom and I am perfectly happy with it. If only Acctim had bothered to give some setup advice they would have received 5 Stars.

Nice clock, which of course keeps the time
Nice clock, just a shame there are no instructions about the buttons on the back. By trial and error I got it started, and so far it works fine. Looks very clean, with good minute markings [Update after 5 months] Now keeps stopping, so changed the battery - will see... Also slightly annoying, as at midnight or thereabouts it starts to rewind, so not good if used as a timer

Does not keep correct time.
I’ve had the clock for a few days. At first it set itself to the correct time. Next day it was 10 minutes slow. When I reset it, it moved to 12 o/c waiting for a signal as it should do but a day or so later it had not set itself to the correct time and was still sitting at 12. I’ve reset it again a couple of times and each time it sets itself about an hour and a quarter fast. If I was to take the battery out, at least it would show the correct time twice a day. Maybe it needs to be in a different room to pick up the radio signal but if you can’t put it in the room you want it in, what’s the point? I’ll be sending it back.

Cheap, Accurate, Easy to use
I'm very pleased with this clock - it's cheap, accurate, easy to use, and quite pretty. On the back of the clock is a QR code for the instructions for the model number on the right of the code - or google 'acctim manual 74664' if you want to read them before buying. After inserting the battery, the clock will automatically begin searching for the MSF radio signal. The second hand will typically move to the 12 o'clock position and remain there until the signal is received and the time is set. I placed my clock by a North-facing (or whatever direction the Cumbria tranmitter is to you) window and left it overnight. There is a manual SET button which when pressed will move the hands forward until you release at the correct time and it will then continue as a normal clock until it receives the next signal.

Nice clock.
It was easy to set up, just put the battery in and leave it to do its thing. It seems to be keeping good time. A bit smaller than the kitchen clock I had but still easy to read the time. Plastic frame does look a bit cheap, but then it wasn't an expensive clock, and once it's on the wall you can't tell, that goes for the faint ticking too. I brought it for It's ability to set It's own time so it doesn't need to be done manually each spring and autumn; so I'll have to wait till March to see if it works. Update 28 Oct 2024. While the clock is still working fine, it didn't update itself when the clocks went back/forward on any of the changes since I brought it, I even waited a few days after the time changes to see if it would reset, it didn't. I had to get it down off the wall and remove & replace the battery before it set to the right time again, which defeats the purpose for having the clock. Disappointing. I've reduced my original rating to 3 stars, though I think it's more a 2 5.
