Product description Ortopad Orthoptic Eye Patches have been helping children successfully treat amblyopia (lazy eye) for over 10 years. Ortopad patterned patches differ from other patches in that the 5 designs in every box make patching fun. In addition, Ortopad patches maximize comfort through a latex-free adhesive. Simply apply the Ortopad patch and the pressure sensitive adhesive will utilize the body's own heat to create comfortable fit. The patches are easily removed from the face without the typical discomfort. Ortopad Orthoptic Eye Patches for Girls are available in three sizes - Junior (for children up to 2), Medium (for children 2 - 4) and Regular (for children over 4). Fun pattern designs for both boys and girls are available in all sizes. Directions 1. Clean the skin area around the eye. 2. Apply the patch by pressing it gently onto the skin, ensuring good adhesion. 3. Remove the patch carefully, making sure not to cause discomfort or injury.

The size of these works for his little face. Tips/tricks from our doc: 1) pinch the middle of the top/bottom sides to create a little "pitch" to give space for longer eyelashes; 2) stick the patch to your hand on/off 2-3 times before putting on child's face (will stick well but won't be as abrasive when it's time to remove). My son HATES stickers so I was very apprehensive about how this would go, but he tolerates the patch for 2 hours a day. It stays on well and easy to remove. My son loves the variety of designs!

Received a sample of these from our Ophthalmologist after she recommended eye patching for the next few months for my son. He's 5 but small for his age. The size of these works for his little face. Ordered these for my little one requiring a patch during all waking hours. He have sensitive skin and really struggles to keep a patch on due to his age. These patches are super cute, stick well, and are very easy on his skin. He doesn’t get any redness or irritation from these like he did with other brands (drug-store). The slits on the inner edge are a game changer for a snug fit. He is able to get these off pretty easy now that he has gotten used to wearing a patch. My only complaint is that he is able to get under it and remove himself, but I’m sure a patch that would withstand the strength of an upset toddler is not possible.
