How Big Is Your Umbrella: Weathering the Storms of Life, Second Edition

Sheila is such a genuine writer. I always take notes on my favorite segments when reading. After finishing this book, I have several notes filled with observations and quotes.I appreciate her honesty with life. She leaves things on a hopeful note, but doesn’t give the “Christian pat answers” to grieving hearts.

This was a wonderful and healing read. If you're feeling, or know some one who is, like you've been knocked down by trials, decisions and just LIFE, I would definitely recommend it. Very supportive while being a reality check at the same time. Truth and Comfort go hand in hand with this book. I read it in one evening, it was short, easy and kept me pulled in.

I thought it was an easy, to the point, concise read. I appreciated that it was about deep things, but not so flowery and emotional that it didn't hit you with the truth. Again, Sheila says exactly what you need to hear.

Anything Shelia writes is awesome! This book is so special that I use with the grief groups that I coordinate in Vicksburg, Mississippi with other grief coaches.Sheila is a genuine in person as she is in her books!!Laying In The Arms Of Angels.
