Best brand cat toys by a country mile
I have a very clever 8m old ragdoll kitten, indoor only, who gets bored of his bog standard feather attachments within 24 hours. I can’t even cycle them in and out, once he’s lost interest, he’s lost interest and won’t play with them again. Enter: Purrs bird and insect attachments. I’ve now purchased every single type available on Amazon except the shrimp (which based on past experience he won’t like because of the texture - the only one he didn’t like was the mouse, which is made of the same quite prickly, fibrous material). He also likes the feather attachments but they generally only hold his attention for a couple of days. They are all beautifully made and utterly irresistible to him. The dragonfly kept his interest for nearly a week - a record - and I’ve been able to cycle that one and a few other favourites. They’re costing me an absolute fortune but are worth every penny. Without them both I and the resident pensioner cat would slowly be being driven insane. Worth noting that they do have their own website with even more variety available, however they’re a small (UK based) company who make items to order so the delivery times are easily up to two weeks versus Amazon’s one. Convenience wins in my constant battle for the occasional hour of peace and quiet.

nice toy but my cat was not all that interested.
My cats favourite is the Purrs Robin Redbreast and second favourite the wiggly wormz. I have purchased majority of the attachments to find which my cat prefers and apart from the two mentioned above my cat was not all thatinterested in this attachment at all, she liked it for about 10 minutes but does not bother to chase it anymore. It's a nice toy but does not interest my cat at all.

Attachment quite boring
Smaller than expected and my cat hasn’t really taken much of a liking to the buttermoth. He usually loves real life bugs, but the attachment doesn’t seem to move much when attached this to the wand snd seem quite boring. Nevertheless, the attachment is made very well.

Fabulous refill and very robust
Very robust attachment, very well-made and sturdy, despite my cats' best attempts at 'killing' it. Unlike some of the other refills for Feather Frenzy/Da Bird cat toys, this has endured a few very good maulings from my cats, and as yet, looks like new - the best-lasting refill I have tried, and I have tried a good number of the various refills/attachments so far. My furry friends totally love this attachment, almost as much as the locust refill, and as soon as my kitties hear me opening the wardrobe door, where these toys are kept, they run expectantly towards me, wide-eyed and purring. It really brings their playtimes back to life, especially as they have been recently losing some interest in the feather refills. Both of my fur buddies perform the most acrobatic jumps and backflips trying to catch hold of it when I play with it in the air, and run so quickly, zigzagging and darting about on the floor when I drag it along the ground - they are so intent on catching it they quickly get out of breath and after several repeated play sessions, interspersed with a few moments catching their breath back again, they are absolutely flat out, ready for feeding/a treat, a good wash and a doze. Along with the locust attachment - which, if anything, is even more fun for my cats - I would highly recommend this refill. Additionally, I must say the seller I have used to buy these products, Purrs In Our Hearts, are wonderful. They provide very quick deliveries, well-packaged parcels and polite, very helpful customer service. Highly recommend.

Great build & design for hours of play
I have 6 cats in total, all with very different play/hunting preferences & I also volunteer for a local cat rescue by fostering & running their helpline. My aerial hunters adore this as it flies effortlessly with a short or long rod & thanks to the ingenious addition of an extra positioning loop in the back of the toy you can change how it moves through the air - you can mimic different flight styles to get your cats attention. Well built toy that stood up to a good chew & back claw mauling. I've bought 2 of these as all my cats are butterfly/moth nommers and I'd like to save a few of them this year! As an added note to all those that worry about cats destroying the wildlife, please remember that the more you play with your cat the less it will need to have the natural stimulation of hunting! Play with your cat until they're worn out & flopped on the floor then give them a couple of treats to simulated them eating the prey they have caught - works wonders for keeping the local wildlife out of your kitchen (or bedroom at 3am....).

The Best Cat Toys Ever!
I know these aren't supposed to be stand alone toys, but I don't get chance to attach them to the wand. As soon as they are removed from the packet, they are swiped out of my hand, carried away & killed! Don't panic people, they are supervised of course. My cats absolutely love these toys & even though they are mauled within five minutes, they're worth every penny. Saying that, they are very resilient & have to put up with being chewed by all three of my cats. So far I've bought the buttermoth, the dragonfly, the robin & the greenfinch & they love them all. My cats are mostly indoor cats with an outdoor 'catio' so they don't get the opportunity to hunt & kill real creatures, but it's so funny to watch them behaving like these are alive! They play with them for hours, all the time growling. I love Purrs In Our Hearts, thank you so much.

Great quality toy
Great quality toy, only reason I gave three stars is that our cats lost interest in it after three minutes or so - Every cat is different though (ours love the Frenzy Firefly from the same seller)

The buttermoth is a great little creature, but like most cat toys, the 2 kitties that live with me loved it! Went crazy for it! for about 2 days, then they said "Oh that again".....yawn..."I'm going to be too busy for that for ever now" which is ok, it is worth the couple days of them running all over for it. 2 days of good exercise is better than no days! This is well made and soft so when there are collisions with it, no one even notices.

I love this! Unfortunately, my cat does not. I think it's cute and well made. The one time was played with it my cat was not able to pull it apart. Maybe if it was catnip scented? although, if you're buying this you probably know that cats will reject anything on a whim. Who really knows what is wrong with it as far as she's concerned? I"ll keep it and pull it out again in a month or so and perhaps her opinion will change. The only reason I did not give this 4 stars is because she doesn't like it because I really do. I wonder if the body could have catnip inside?

My cats definitely love this toy. It's relatively large, which they don't seem to mind, even the little kittens. I took away a star because the loop at the end, which is used to attach to a wand, has come loose and is now very long. It prevents me from using the Da Bird wand well with it because the extra loop makes it lag. Nevertheless, I'd recommend it.

My cat loves this feathery little bug. Our moth arrived with peacock feather wings and a gray wool body. Very cool looking and random. The toy has proven to be durable as a whole. I don't care what color the toy is as long as the cat likes it. The size and weight are fine for my adult domestic short hair kitty. I choose this toy because I needed a string cat toy that did not contain catnip as my cat doesn't like the smell of catnip. This toy works well with young adult cats that like feather types of cat toys. I use it with my Da Bird wand. He loves it so much I've had to restring my wand twice. Shipping was also pretty quick.

So far this has been my cats' favorite attachment for Da Bird wand by a large margin. It's been 3 months of nearly daily play and they've stripped all but 2 feathers off of it, so I consider it fairly durable; though I have to store it out of reach so they don't totally destroy it. This has led to some new behavior where our smaller female Doris will cry for me to get it down as soon as I come home. It's been challenging to encourage my cats to keep it civil and take turns because they both completely flip out for this thing. As you'd expect, it doesn't spin in flight but rather glides pretty well. Hats off to the manufacturer for making something that will wear my young healthy cats out in a matter of minutes!
