This is truly a wonderful gift for the entire family! It not only met our expectations but also exceeded them. It's both enjoyable and educational, serving as a fantastic introduction to geometry.

Very impressed so far! Obviously my so. Wanted to open the largest one and also a darker colour than the rest. I had read the previous reviews where people were disappointed, so I made sure he knew there was a possibility they might be all white. I think they are beautiful whatever colour and the rest are going in his party bags as party favours. 4stars instead of 5 for the size variations some are tiny.

I was really surprised with this, please ensure you purchase a hammer & chisel to break them open. The kit does not come with anything to break them open. Most of them were the same colours but we had a few different ones as well. Its basically the luck of the draw when it comes to variety. My son (8yrs) & I had a lot of fun breaking them open and inspecting each one. Its a great bonding exercise.

Good activity pack for a rainy day and for a child that enjoys geology. My feedback for this product is that the geodes are mostly white quartz with some variations in thickness. Some were too hard to open with a hammer and chisel like the instructions suggest, and my husband had to resort to cutting them open with an angle grinder (highly recommend - saves a lot of effort!). My son was delighted with the crystals inside but I felt they were a bit underwhelming compared to what is presented on the packet. For the price, it’s cheaper than going to a specialist shop and opening the rocks did bring lots of entertainment.

Brought nephew for his 10th birthday he loves them!

After mixed reviews I was undecided whether to buy this or not. However, my granddaughter absolutely loved it. Yes, most of the crystals were white but the exciting part was breaking them open. My granddaughter had a really good try at breaking them open but adult help is definitely required.

Absolutely brilliant. Realy impressive and genuine geodes. My son is seriously impressed with this and hes been left with some really good crystals for display.

Great set but be warned, these are quite hard to open. With the regular hammer, I probably had to hit it for a good 20min! I guess it attests to their authenticity
