Popular Playthings 5105 Magnetic Match Rings

I like these magnetic rings for the kids (5 & 3) to start learning some science concepts. They caught on really quickly and the cards certainly help in explaining why the magnets attract or repel, and my kids can easily copy the patterns on the cards. They arrived really quickly and were as described except I thought they'd be a bit bigger, but that isn't a problem.

Brilliant product. Bought for an almost 3yr old and he loves it. It’s great for practicing so many skills, hand and eye coordination, following instructions, matching colours but all he knows is he’s having fun.

This toy is a really good idea and is a great puzzle game for kids. However I bought this for my 5 yr old and it is far too easy for him, not really a challenge at all. Would better suit 3-4 years. But still a great toy

My son uses it at his occupational therapy and he loves it! Bought it so we can play at home as well!

My three and a half year old has had quite a bit of fun with this and certainly played with it for a good hour or so when we first got it out. He's come back to it once or twice since and I'm sure will do so again. He didn't have any problems playing with it himself and didn't need any help from me. I hadn't thought about it carefully beforehand but it turns out that the puzzle cards are pretty trivial as you just put the colours on in order and for each one there are only two ways round to try. So he found the puzzle cards really easy - there's no logic involved as such and as soon as he'd figured out the general idea he could do any of them (though in practice he didn't actually do that many). So if you are looking at magnetic toys I wouldn't say that this had anything to offer over a set of similiar floating magnets without the puzzle cards (if you can find one that is!) Overall, it has been a nice addition to our stash of magnetic toys, but it also felt slightly overpriced - which admittedly may be because magnets of a certain size/shape are fundamentally not that cheap I guess?

Good game, the grandchildren, ages 1, 2, 3 & 4, love it though bought for my teenage disabled son. Easily transportable if necessary in it's own plastic zip lock bag.

Fue un regalo oara mi sobrina. Y ha sido todo un acierto es ideal para trabajar las secuencias. Ademas de la destreza y habilidad. El tema de que segun cada secuencia debas poner el iman por el polo + o el - para generar un espasio o no entre imanes. Le da a este juego un plus de originalidad.

This was a hit with a wide range of ages -- 3-14, all enjoyed it and found a lot of ways to play with it beyond the puzzles. Magnets are coated in plastic and feel quite sturdy. Great product.
