So comfortable.
These gel pads worked very well in my cowboy boots. I wish I had them years ago when I was a skier. Absolutely no pain at all. I keep them inside my boots for storage so that I am never without them.

Quality protection at great price
My dance kneepads did not provide enough cushion, and the ones that did were too big for my legs. I bought the 4" pads to place below the kneepads, and they work great — stay in place and give me enough protection for my joints!

Very helpful but Not durable enough for my extreme use. I wear all the time.
I use one to relieve pressure from an ankle brace. Initially very pleased. Within a week however the pad split into two pieces. Not sure if there was a defect in the pad or too much pressure. The size is perfect as is the thickness. Price seems high for the amount of silicone , especially if I have to replace them often. But I have found no better alternative. Kudos to the inventor. Underserved market is “brace protection”.

Saved Me from Buying New Inline Skates
I inline skate/rollerblade half-marathons and marathons. I got new inline skates this spring and they're great otherwise, except they chafe on the inside of my ankles. I tried double socks, extra fabric, blister bandages, tape etc. and while all of those products reduced the problem none of them would come close to eliminating it. If I'd leave for a half-marathon with completely healed ankles without any products I would come back home with bloody blisters and lots of fractured skin with my ankles in horrible burning pain. If I'd use any other products I would come home with some blisters and a bit of fractured skin and moderate burning pain, but with these gel discs I come home without any blisters, almost no fractured skin and barely noticeable pain at all - which is completely gone within 30 mins of taking my skates off! What a brilliant product, couldn't give a higher recommendation!

They don’t stay in place on my ankle
I like the thickness and if it would’ve stayed on the sore spot of my ankle. I would have given it a better rating. It is nice and thick and soft.

Works well in figure skates
The side of my boot tongue was cutting into my inner ankle bones. These worked perfectly! They stayed in place and stopped the pain entirely. I put them under a compression sleeve, so I can't vouch for how well they stay in place under only skating socks. I was worried they would be too thick and bulky for more advanced figure skates, but they weren't. No change to boot lacing or skating experience. Just a complete lack of pain. Bonus is they come with a nice, sturdy little storage pouch.

They do not stay put
Hard to stick under your socks. Worse yet, they do not stay in place and hence shift off the ankle one. As a result, I still got hit on the ankle bone and a sore. The idea was good but the execution is poor. I bought the 4 inch instead of the 2 inch and even though it covered more area, they still shifted leaving the ankle vulnerable. Sadly, one must use the kind that has a strap under the foot to be safe.

For some reason, it was only my right goalie skate that was lacking in padding where my inner lower ankle bone is... the one just under the talus. Because of the angled butterfly pushes required, I was constantly putting pressure onto this point and the pain was intense. That part of my ankle felt like it was pressing into a stiff board. I could see that a bone spur would also form if I didn't do anything about it. This 2.5" gel disc worked perfectly. I positioned it onto the affected place and experienced absolutely no pain since. I also purchased compression socks to wear over the disk and it helped keep it in place. After 1.5 hours of ice time, the gel disc stayed in place. Although the gel disc was expensive and I only needed one, it was worth it to avoid developing a bone spur. Most importantly, there was no more pain. Edit: It has been 2 years since I’ve been using these. They are still in great condition and continue to allow me to wear my skates free of any pain. Edit 2: Another year has passed and they have not deteriorated. I have only been using one of the two disks since only one of my skates needed it. I occasionally get a skin rash from the gel disk pad so I’ve started to wear it outside of my sock inside the skate. The pad stays in place so I’ll be using it this way from now on. Edit 3: One day, I forgot to put the disk pad into my skate and realized that I didn't experience any pain at all. My skates had broken in and I don't need to use the gel pad any longer. I’ve used mine for about three years and they show very little wear so I’m surprised by other reviews that state these don’t last long.

I snowboard 40-50 days a season, like tight boots and stiff bindings. My boots are comfy but due to the boa and my preferences my peroneal tendon gets irritated and slips over my ankle regularly causing swelling. It got so bad last season I needed a solution. Stumbled upon these wonderful products and was able to test them today. They did a great job adding some extra cushion where it was needed. The disc stayed in place all day, and wasn't sticky or gross when I took them out of my socks at the end of the day. Highly recommend these!

As someone who has accessory navicular bones on both feet, these disc have been a lifesaver when I go skating. I use to get blisters all the time but haven't got them since I started using this. Unfortunately, after a couple of uses the disc tore which I am quite sad about. Not too sure if there's warranty on these. However, it is a great product that I highly recommend!

These are great, they prevent the ganglions on my ankles from growing. Wear these everyday, no concerns regarding tearing. They have held up really well.

These ripped the first time I wore them. I love the gel socks from this brand but this type of material does not work in skates.. too high impact of a sport for such horrible material. I thought it was going to be more of a silicone but it’s a sticky gel type of material. I dropped one on the arena floor and it got covered in dirt ( i’m going to leave a bad review on the janitors page too 😂 )
