I purchased the fuel pump for an Onan 5500 gas generator. It was about one tenth the price of the one from Cummins. It is an in-kind install and functions exactly as it should.

Purchase and install this fuel pump on my RV generator before going on vacation. Tested it for about 20 minutes. Everything seemed to work well. After about an hour use on vacation, the generator went out. Finally got around to troubleshooting to determine that the fuel pump that I just purchased is bad. Contacted the company who advised that the warranty was only for 90 days and I was passed that window. I explained that even being past the window, I don’t used it for about an hour. workmanship and materials is extremely poor. Would not recommend this unit for anyone unless you like replacing fuel pumps. My recommendation would be good with Amazon recommended you’ll spend a little more money, but it has a two year warranty and what appears to be a better customer service.

The pump works great. It did take some modifications. The bracket holes did not align with bolt holes. Also the wires were too short to reach the generator connections. I had to solder on extra wire to reach the connectors.

This worked perfect, the pump was easy to use and install. generator works great now
