Has been sturdy or the last few months that I have owned it and I do not have any fears of it falling apart while I have my guitars on it. The wood looks nice and the assembly didn't take to long. However, the foam does move on the guitar contact points which is something that I need to be mindful of each time I set a guitar down. My Jazz Bass and Jazzmaster are also just about touching the floor.
