Sharp and responsive, although a bit fiddly.
This monitor is very nice for playing video games, although the PS5 is barely able to run games at 120hz, let alone 144hz, with only a small list of supported games. The monitor allows for a decent amount of tuning and has a deep sleep mode, where the monitor can quickly turn itself one once an input is detected. The fiddly part, though, is the menu accessed via a joystick under the screen. The menu shortcuts are not very intuitive and has you press it multiple times, for simple actions such as switching inputs. For example, to switch input I have to: Press the joystick, push left, push left/right to select the input, then finally press the joystick again. That is 4 actions to switch input. It will get very frustrating if you are troubleshooting to doing any creative work. The shortcuts do not allow for specific inputs.

Great budget monitor
This 144hz monitor is very nice for gaming and definitely a great upgrade from my old 60hz monitor. There is a bunch of options which most gaming monitors have such as adding a crosshair on the screen and you can adjust the response time of the monitor.

Be aware of the stand
I bought it with the intention of using it vertically as an extended monitor and to my surprise the stand is pretty cheap with 0 adjustment possible. Hard to believe that LG would do that with their new products in 2023. So whatever you're saving here will likely be spent in a VESA mount (size 100), which btw is not listed in the monitor specs, although it is present. In general- mixed feelings.

Great monitor
Great monitor overall, especially for gaming. The colour accuracy out of the box is on the warmer side. I recommend looking for an ICC profile for the LG 24gn600 (same panel) and installing it in order to get good colour accuracy. Otherwise the response time is very good and so is the ghosting. Adaptive sync is also really helpful and is well implemented, I recommend turning it to the highest level. Only downside I could see for this monitor is the non adjustable stand, which didn't bother me personally.

Good for a first monitor
Works well as a first monitor. Personally, not a fan of the HD display and would much prefer a 1440p, otherwise, this is a very nice monitor.

Good price

Great
If you are a 1080p gamer the 144 refresh is great for games. Obviously you will find better the more you pay but not for this great price.

Backlight Bleed is so bad that monitor is no usable even day time
Left but mostly huge right bottom part of the screen in not dark at all. Watching movies is almost impossible as your attention is constantly drawn to the bright part of what should be a dark screen. I've requested replacement and hopefully this is one off. Fingers crossed.
