Title: Aquarium Corals( Selection Husbandry and Natural History) Binding: Hardcover Author: EricH.Borneman Publisher: TFHPublications Review: Outstanding - It is hard to imagine what a better book about corals would look like. While managing to keep this side of being an academic reference book it covers in detail every species of coral you are ever likely to find in captivity both from a taxonomic point of view and a practical, what-to-feed-it point of view. As well as the species reference there are extensive sections on husbandry, diseases and every other aspect of successfully keeping corals. I can't recommend it highly enough. I only wish there were similar books out there about reef inverts and fish. Review: The writings are very technical and sometimes not easy to understand - It is a comprehensive book on corals! The writings are very technical and sometimes not easy to understand, but the content is much needed and vital to those who are interested in corals and don't wish to start clueless.

Great deal of information
Loads of great illustrations and pictures to explain the anatomy of corals, their natural environment and much more. Be prepared to learn a great deal, more than a "for dummies" tome. Well organised and written.

Stunning book
Amazing book, expensive, but probably worth it. Clearly written, as in depth as you care to read. Great chapter on Bleaching which is my current "issue". Learning a lot.

Very informative but dated.
This is clearly a go to book in some ways - you cannot help but respect the depth of information. However it is about 20 years old now and some of the sections on available kinds of equipment and sytems is correspondingly dated.

The bible of reef keeping
Book received is brand new, and it is a very comprehensive book with an impressive amount of research done on corals and reefs. It is certainly a must have for reef keeping hobbyists, who are truly passionate about saving and sustaining these endangered animals.
