Gem of a whistle
I bought this as a present for a friend with whom I used to coach hockey, and who much admired my own Thunderer. I gave it to him when I retired, but he turned the tables on me and re-presented it to me in an acrylic case when I left. I have, by sending him a brand new one, turned the tables again. The Thunderer makes an impressive sound, the sort you need when dealing with 13 year olds of small talent but great enthusiasm. It's a gem of a whistle.

Loud and Proud!
As a primary school teacher of 16 years, this is the best whistle I have ever had. It is loud and proud without being too shrill and would be ideal for football matches, sports days as well as playground duties as its sound carries for miles! Really well made too, will last for years I'm sure.

Old school, sturdy excellent whistle. Bought two for my sons coaches and got them engraved. Good weight to them and well made

Nice item but I think others in the range are better.
Not as loud or as easy to blow as other models in the range but has a nice deep tone to itAlso bought the 58.5 (Louder with similar tone) and the 60.5 (smaller unit, easier to blow with a bit more resistance and afar higher pitch)

Thunderers are the standard
Best whistle manufacturer around the only one to buy if you are a ref. This one has a wider mouth and is VERY loud I have been using this type for over 20 years refereeing this is my 3rd one as the cork pea does not last forever

Grandísima calidad. Lo malo es que tienes que tener gran capacidad pulmonar. Se te va casi el alma al tocarlo, pero se oye muchísimo.
