30/30 Nickel Yale Superior Euro Cylinder with 3 Keys Anti Snap/Bump/Pick/Drill/Pull High Security uPVC Composite Door Barrel Profile Lock

I felt it was time to replace my old cheap cylinder locks, which lacked all modern security features and had keys that were too easy to copy. So I spent quite a bit of time on Amazon looking at various alternatives. In the end, in terms of how much quality and security you get for the price, I felt that these Yale locks were the best buy. The keys would be difficult to copy, and the movement of the key in the lock has a nice feel to it. They were very easy to fit : basically a like-for-like replacement, with upgraded quality. My only niggle is that I would have liked more keys with each lock. And I would have liked to have been able to buy the locks as a pair; this was possible in some sizes but not in this size for some reason that I cannot make out. But all in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

A bit fiddle to fit as the screw supplied is far too long so I used the one from the old lock. Also once fitted I couldn't turn the key so I removed the lock and swapped it end to end to solve the problem. The keys are inserted towards one side of the lock.

I contacted a locksmith locally to get a quote for changing 4 locks in my new property I had just purchased. And including the locks - which I specifically wanted Anti Snap Locks (due to there excellent reviews) the quote came back at £800! I was gobsmacked! After a little digging round, and approximately 20 mins of research and YouTube watching I found myself easily taking the locks out of each doors and measuring up to check prices for locks. I was so surprised how easy it was to do ourselves. Within an hour of first research I had ordered all four locks I needed for my house, At approximately £87 including postage! The products arrived within two days and we’re fitted within an hour of arriving. Unfortunately one of the locks was faulty - but I managed to return this with no problems. All four of the Yale anti-snap locks came with two keys per lock, which was ideal! These locks are horizontal key position locks which was confusing for me at first as all previous locks had all been vertical. The three other locks which we ordered and fitted are still going strong two years later. We have had no problems with them, and will definitely purchase more in the future to save us plenty of money! I really do suggest changing your locks yourself it is really simple and easy to do as long as you measure your existing locks properly!

Bought to replace a standard euro lock in a sliding door. The construction and quality of this lock is clearly evident when compared to the standard lock I removed. Fitted the new lock with no issues. This lock does have an external end so do make sure you install it the right way round. Arrives with three keys and a fitting screw. Ensure you order the right length for your door and some will have different lengths from the end to the hole for the screw. This one was an even 30/30. Better to remove the old lock and measure that before ordering a new one.

Easy to fit. Just remove the old one and slot the new one in. The screw supplied wasn't long enough for my door but I was able to use the old one. Shame they don't provide more keys as it's a hassle hsving to separately order new ones.

Easy to install

Typical good Yale quality. Only 3 keys though. Pity Yale doesn't sell with 5 keys like some other manufacturers as getting extra spare keys is a pain.

Great quality and easy to install. Please note that if you get the version with a thumb turn on the inside - you may have to turn the key twice to make sure it’s locked.

The anti-bump and snap features are great to see at this price point. Let down by the super cheap feeling of the lock and the keys. The low price mitigates this somewhat, so 4 stars given. Far from being pick proof - but the side pins provide some extra pick resistance.

El cilindro funciona correctamente, aunque no le doy 5 estrellas porque no veia en su caja original. La llave gira perfectamente. Buena relacion calidad/precio.

Arrivato nel massimo del tempo previsto. Oggetti come da pubblicato. Il montaggio non ha presentato difficoltà per quanto riguarda il cilindro. La dotazione è solo di tre chiavi (come chiaramente scritto).Lla difficoltà sta nel richiedere una chiave aggiuntiva: bisogna registrare la chiave sul sito inglese, e fino a qui nessun problema, ma quando si richiede la chiave il conto diviene salato, più di 25 €. Quindi si avete bisogne di più di tre chiavi, questo prodotto diviene antieconomico.

Las llaves cuesta meterlas. Parece como si no estuviesen bien pulidas. Cuesta algo meter el cilindro. Por lo de mas Bien.

Cilindro molto scarso, pensavo in una maggiore qualità offerta da yale, ma mi sono sbagliato. Da notare pure che il perno anristrappo è in materiale composito anziché in acciaio, poi non sò se sia addirittura meglio, ma la plastica ha i suoi limiti di tenuta nel tempo.
