I put this alarm product on an outbuilding as a door alarm, using the alarm extension as a door trigger and mounting the box next to the door. The basic electronic design allows for a number of configurations and you can use it to trip outboard visual alarms with the onboard NO/NC relay contacts. Over and above using it for alarming a secured exit door it is versatile enough to create a multi sensor basic alarm system. If you had the motivation, you could use it for a two zone home alarm system. Works as an entry alarm as well as an exit alarm.

Its very usefull to install in emergency doors! Have a good control and has a easy instalation.

As promised

This unit is advertised as being meant for a double door system. It shows a long (18") wired sensor, which they say can be "cut down to size". What they DON'T say is that both sensors are molded to the wires - not screwed (you cannot remove the wires from the sensors). The OTHER wire and sensor (for the "other door") is enclosed INSIDE the unit, and the wire is barely a foot long. By code, you CANNOT splice these wires together, you HAVE TO buy another sensor if your run is over a foot away, which ours is. Trying to find a second sensor from this manufacturer has been difficult.
