Oak Meditation bench

Disclaimer: I received the stool and not the bench. This being said, the stool is super amazing. The difference between the stool and the bench is that the latter has curves at the bottom to rock into a comfortable position. However I found no issue with the stool. Seller was immediately apologetic, and I really sought no return :) Recommend to check the website and see which is the best stool height for you. I suffer from a bad back, which many times presented problems when sitting in lotus for a long time. This stool solves the problem pronto :) I can sit on it for a very long time without any back pain. Moreover it folds beautifully, so, together with the cushion, it's also possible to use it as a meditation cushion to sit lotus on. Without the cushion it's so portable! To me, this is a valuable addition to any meditation. You won't regret it :)

Look no further, this bench is absolutely amazing, comfortable, perfect height (I'm 166 cm), great to rock into position, beautifully crafted, has a super special oak smell, being foldable is extremely advantageous, rounded endings as not to cut blood circulationand and last but not least, Michael is a great seller, will help you with any doubts and also can customise it for you, if for example, you need a different height if you are super tall. Quality, good price and amazing meditation sessions, what else can you ask for!

Have just received my stool and tried it out. Attractive to the eye, very well made and incredibly comfortable. I have knee and back problems so am glad i got the type which can rock to the correct angle for me. I have wanted one of these for prayer for many years and this is a beautiful stool. Really beautiful bench - craftsmanship is excellent. The solid oak is a touch too heavy so probably not the best option for traveling. But to keep at home, it feels like it will stand the test of time.

I bought the bench with cushion to make it easier to sit straight. I used to meditate 15 to 20min sitting on the bed. With the bench I have to force myself to do 3 to 5min because it is so uncomfortable.

Excellent customer service, I needed the small version of this. Well made quality item and we have used it with legs folded and as small stool, I also use it to support yoga for my rigid I don’t want to bend body. This stops the kids from jumping around on it as the legs fold if they wriggle too much - didn’t expect this stool to actually encourage them to be still and calm. Brilliant. They also tend to rock slightly on it as the base of the legs are rounded. Makes you sit in a good position reducing neck/back pain.

Great bench for kneeling during meditation or prayer. I like everything about this bench. It is beautiful, robust and well made! The only downside to how well it is made is that it is fairly heavy as it is made from solid and thick piece of oak wood and therefore is less suitable to be used when travelling. I would love a light, maybe pine version of this stool to be also available so I can buy an extra one to take with me whenever I am away.

This is a lovely meditation bench. I ordered it to specific dimensions at no extra cost. The rocker bottom legs allow me to get into a good position for my spine. If you do have specific requests get in touch with the seller. He is very amenable to making the bench to your specifications. Five stars all the way for this product.

Ho usato questo prodotto per la meditazione dopo un'accurata scelta tra prodotti analoghi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo punto Peccato solo per le spese di spedizione piuttosto alte. Di ottima fattura, ben rifinito, spedizione puntuale. Ho scelto il modello con il profilo delle gambe stondato, dopo essere stata consigliata, per un maggior Confort. Tuttavia conferisce un po' di instabilità alla postura. Inoltre, Pur non essendo io di alta statura, trovo che la seduta sia un po' bassa e quindi le gambe quasi schiacciate . Solo per questo motivo, forse soggettivo , ho dato una stellina in meno.

Ne ho acquistati 3, il primo l ho regalato quindi non saprei. Gli altri due ( uno reso) e il secondo in procinto di essere restituito. La mia esperienza con questo rivenditore finisce qui. L assemblaggio è fatto grossolanamente , le cerniere non simmetriche (e di ottone non di acciaio) fan si che durante la meditazione se ti muovi un poco si chiudono , quindi cadi. Se appoggi il panchettino sul pavimento scivola e si piega , quindi può essere usato solo sul tappetino. Ecco, considerato il prezzo notevole non consiglio questo acquisto, peccato perché il legno è valido e ben costruito.
