Can this be used in a spray gun?

I used it in a garden weed sprayer. The kinda of one you pump to gain pressure.

Is this safe for use on rubber and plastic?

I've been using this for years to clean my motorbike, but I must admit I only use it on the metal bits. I wouldn't be worrying to much about it dripping on rubber/plastic for example if it gets on your tires etc, it wont melt them, but I do spray the bike down after with water. It is quite a strong solvent so I wouldn't purposely be cleaning the plastic/rubber parts with it. I hope that helps and makes sense.
