Howard Miller 547761 Osburn Mantel Clock

Spent a year looking for the right clock. Always trusted the Howard Miller name and radiant sound.Liked the more modern style for the living room. PROBLEM the sound it’s very tiney sounding not the deep rich sound. Really bad and noticed very easily. Had a previous H M school house wall clock also battery operated that had a beautiful sound.H.M. missed out on the modern style and so did I. Did not return just removed the batteries for the sound. Lesson learned don’t purchase a clock until you first hear the sound.
