This little UV resin kit is amazing! It’s so much better than I was expecting for only $9.99! It comes with two nice size bottles (100g each) of hard drying resin that doesn’t need to be mixed to use it, unless of course you’d like to add some color or glitter! I needed a small UV light to firmly fix my crystals to metal car vent clips to create crystal art for inside the car. I had been using e6000 craft glue but wasn’t satisfied with the hold, so I watched a video and it turns out this step is optional but adding resin around the clip after the glue has fully dried after 24 hours creates a MUCH stronger bond and ensures the crystals will not fall off the clips. This is important as I love giving them as gifts and I also sell them, so I want to provide my friends & customers with a long-lasting, quality product, and this little UV resin kit is the answer! The light has three timed settings for 60, 90 and 150 seconds and shuts off when the time is up. It does need to stay plugged in as it’s being used, but is super simple to operate. It is definitely a small light, about the size of a cell phone, so it may not be right for you if you’re working on larger projects, but for my needs it couldn’t be more perfect, as you can see in my pics. The resin dries in about two minutes and is then hard to the touch, fully set in such a short time, and I’m amazed! It also has a little storage bag that makes it easy to avoid losing any components, which I’m prone to do, so I appreciate that inclusion. This little light is the perfect solution for my crafts and I can’t wait to experiment with it some more! I feel very confident in recommending it!!

Exactly as described, works great, easy to use. Minimal bubbles if used correctly. Cures clear, no nasty smell, coats evenly.

Recently I made my MIL a few bracelets and a pair of earrings using clay and flower petals. Even after baking the beads I was worried they wouldn’t hold up if they weren’t sealed. After reading countless articles on how to seal polymer clay I chose this. It was so easy to use! I expected resin to be lengthy process but this was simple and cured quickly under the provided light. The resin dried clear, no air bubbles, and weren’t tacky or sticky. It added a shine to the beads and made them more durable so she can wear what I made on a daily basis and I won’t worry about what I made her breaking down. I only needed to use a little bit so I can keep reusing this to coat my handmade earrings or other clay crafts. Great value when I break down the cost, it costs me Pennies per piece!!

This is a great little resin set! My kids got really into resin after getting a few of those make it mini things. So we got this for the curing those sets and making a few other little things. The little cure light is small, but I love that it stays on and easily cures things. The smell from the resin isn’t super strong which is perfect. The clarity and appearance are nice, but It does seem to curve as it cures regardless of how thin you make your layers. Gave it 4 stars only because of how small the light is, and the curved curing.

I love this resin a lot. I’m write a honest review because when it comes to buying stuff like this people really like to read up on it before choosing their final choice. Like me I read and review sooooo many different brands before I buy. I read sooooo many before buying this brand because this was my very first time ever using UV resin. Really resin period. I used regular kind before in the past like once or twice. This brand here does the job! It hardens like it says for the most part. I found though with using this lamp that comes with it if you hear it for 2 min it comes out perfectly hard and not tacky. When I’d heat below 2 min it would have this tacky feel and leave prints or surges and become cloudy. Then I’d have to add more. It is thickish. Specially whe. You get to the bottom of the bottle. It becomes REALLY thick and you have to use more to get it spread out more evenly. And when your at the Hinton of the bottle you need to heat it for like 2min and 15/20 seconds. It’s like it takes longer to cure for whatever reason. It really doesn’t turn yellow after either. That I have seen. It is a pretty clear resin even after it’s cured. There was a few pieces that did darken some but not dramatically. I love how the resin brings out the sparkle, shine and shimmer of clays that have that. Also when you add glitter or shimmer it really brings out the shine. Over all it’s a great resin and it will be my go to when I try others and don’t like it. I did buy some new kind this round just to see how it does so I can find the perfect one for me. I posted a few photos of the resin used on my earrings. I also used one photo where there is white paint underneath. And the one with the star the yellow kinda dulled. Which was odd to me. So did the green. It didn’t really enhance the vibrant colors like they were. Oh note to add!! This gives very few to no bubbles. But if you do get bubbles just take a lighter and swirl over the top of them and they disappear. Or a heatgun will work too. Don’t let the clam touch it but just run it across the tips bout 1/2in-1in away. They will disappear when you do so.

I love this kit! I mostly use it as hard glue for keychain making. The resin dries very quickly with the included lamp, and stays hard. There seem to be low bubbles from what I can see of the exposed resin. It comes with regular screw lid, as well as a nozzle with a screw lid for precision placement. It's very easy to use with the slip mat and gloves (bc resin should NEVER touch skin!!). This is a good kit for a beginner, as well as people who are experienced.

It is very dangerous. My eyes were hurting after usage and I was paranoid that it will eat through my gloves (which I think it did)

The resin is great, but the UV lamp is very bad and not as described at all. There are no brands on the actual lamp, as in the photo. It did work great the first night for 3 hours, but on the second day, I noticed that the purple UV light was weaker and took longer to cure, while many of the pendants were ticky on the bottom surface. Amazon must be held responsible for not doing quality checks by allowing misleading product advertisements with no brands as claimed. I bought it because I trust Amazon
