Readers will meet several wild animals and follow each one as it plays hide and seek from various habitats. Children will learn about each creature in simple, age-appropriate language paired with colorful photos. Look and Learn introduces the child to the subject on one page then shows it in real-life context on the other. Review: Good for 2 year olds! - I love that National Geographic does board books. My 2 year old (who loves reaping pages) finds this one hard to destroy! Review: Great for toddlers! - Got this for my toddler and it’s great. Good size for him to hold and turn pages and see what real animals looks like instead of just cartoon drawings like a lot of books are. Cute series, will be buying more.

Cute animal pictures
We have a lot of the National Geographic books, and this is one of the better ones. Features raccoons, mice, penguins, alligators, and foxes.

Great pics
Great pics that are real photos of animals. Each page has fun facts about the animal pictured.

but the pictures are nice and my toddler has loved them
As with all of the National Geographic Look&Learn books we have, I find some of the animal facts to be somewhat generic while others are very animal-specific, but the pictures are nice and my toddler has loved them. This book in particular has engaged my 12 month old.

Shes a more intelligent toddler so I looked for books that would match ...
I bought a few of these books for my friends 2yr olds birthday. Shes a more intelligent toddler so I looked for books that would match that. The pictures are bright, the information is good for a small child, short sentences with little informational tidbits. I think these will be excellent.

Love the series
Love these books. A great way of introducing kids to animals in their natural habitats that they may not otherwise get to see.

Good book
Good book for little kids! Got it for my two year old niece - she likes it. Plus sturdy enough to survive her rough handling.
