Easy to slip on
The XL size fit on my size 14 Reebok side zip work boots. I was a bit apprehensive about them being able to fit this size with a safety toe but they went on just fine. After using them for a while: they work fine on a flat level surface like a sidewalk but not so good on rough terrain. I lost one somewhere and several of the traction spikes came out and had to be replaced. They send you several replacements but I would have quickly exhausted the supply at the rate I was going. All in all I wouldn't buy these again.

They stay on my boots really well
I have many kinds of ice cleats. And I like these because they stay on the boot well. But if it snows a little bit over really hard ice the little cleats are not going to reach down into the ice but that's the same with any of them unless they're very long and sharp. We continue to buy this type and I like that the little pins are replaceable

Easy to use ice cleats for walking safety
These ice cleats are easy to slip on boots or shoes. They stretch to fit and the heel tab makes pulling then on very easy. They prevent falls on ice or packed snow. They are small enough to keep a pair in your car. I also use them for winter hiking in the Colorado mountains. The rubber construction makes them light enough to keep a pair in your day pack. When running into muddy conditions., they are simple to clean by knocking off the mud and spraying with water. I like them so well that I have given them as gifts to friends and family members.

Great at first, but wore out quick
Started off great. I could literally jog across patches of slick ice with total stability and control. No slippage whatsoever! Fantastic for walking my dog around the neighborhood here in the cold winters of the northeast. I'd say follow the sizing chart for the right fit. If youre right on the cusp of 2 different sizes be sure to order the smaller option as these will stretch a good bit to accommodate a shoe size that is even a small bit larger than the maximum size the chart says it's for. This makes sense as you are typically wearing thicker boots in the winter with outside dimensions much larger than your normal sneaker. Do not buy these in a larger size than the chart says you'll need. They will hang loosely off your boots and will ultimately pop off in the snow / ice somewhere never to be found again. So why only 3 stars? Because after only a month of normal use the metal studs had been ground down to little nubs that didn't grab the ice very well at all. This could be partly my fault for trekking across pavement / sidewalks without ice on them a few times during walks, but honestly that's just going to happen in everyone's case and as such, I feel these studs should be made of a stronger metal that can at least last a whole season before wearing out. Also, the rubber webbing on one of mine is starting to tear and will probably fail all together in a few more weeks. For the amount of wear a product like this is going to inevitably be subjected to, a much stronger, thicker rubber should've been used. Final verdict is this: OK for the cheap price. Good buy if only using them around your property while shoveling / walking to car and back. Not durable enough for longer dog walks / neighbors walks in which sections pavement w/ no ice will be walked upon.

Nice product
Good value for the price. They seem sturdy enough and are slip resistant. Great for walking on the ice

Not worth my investment
These were junk. I just put them on my boots for the first time last month. In one month the rubberized side strap connecting the spike pads broke. I had a different pair for two years that worked perfectly well. I was just concerned that they were getting old and I might lose them on a walk. Go figure, I did in a month with the new ones.

These don’t provide me with as much grip as my old ones did.

These are great in theory but sizing was an issue. The back cleat fell into the hollow underside of my boot which then did not work. I did manage to pull the strap onto the high top of my work boot to get it to fit right. These would work way better on a shoe with a flat sole.

I purchased a second pair just to have an extra pair on hand, but my first pair is still fine (I'm finished up my second winter with them). The first winter, I lost 3 of the spikes, but after realizing that if I made sure the grippers were resting flat against the soles of my shoes, I've never had another one come out (they're super easy to replace - you just poke one of the replacement ones through the hole left by the missing one). I live in NW Ontario, where we have snow and ice on the roads for a good 5+ months out of the year. I haven't had a single slip/fall since I started using there. Another thing I love about these is that I can put them on while standing up: slip my toe into them first, then lift my heel and pull them on the rest of the way. I've tried more expensive ones, but they rusted despite regular rinsing/drying, and those honestly didn't seem to work as well for me. The more expensive ones also required me to sit down and really strain to stretch the grippers to get them over my shoes. I don't know if this is typical, but mine took about 6 weeks to arrive (shipped from China?). It looks like you may be able to get essentially the same product more quickly elsewhere on Amazon, but you can't beat this price!
