I have one of these. They are very good. Saves putting heating on. So brought 2 for my sisters for Christmas

Excellent warmer for back whilst sitting. Heats up quickly and the three heat settings are good. Could also heat any other part of body such as abdomen, chest or feet for example if wanted. A great purchase to also use to place on a seat to sit on.

Avoid at all accounts. I searched and found this in Argos and thought badly that it should belong Argos sell it. Sadly it was woeful turned on for about 2 minutes went cold kept having to disconnect every time to get it back on. It also states to not cover with anything ? So how can it be used on skin for pain and also it states do not fold ?? That’s impossible due to the material and where you may wish to use it ( body wise that is) these are all stated on the warnings and safety paperwork not comes with. Waste of time as now have to return it

I bought this to replace an electric blanket which I noticed had developed singe marks. I was a bit freaked out by this and decided that I would buy a more ‘visible‘ alternative for my cold feet. I was a bit put off by the stories of the safety shut-off mechanism which renders the product useless, as some reviewers seem to have experienced. The instructions were vague about how to avoid this - they say not to use the product when ‘partially covered’. I wondered what the point of a hot water bottle was if you couldn’t put it inside your bed. So I emailed Beurer, who clarified that it’s the control unit that can’t be allowed to get too hot (by being covered). This was easy to avoid for me as I just tuck it under my duvet and the control unit hangs outside, down the side of the bed. The other issue is that it can’t be scrunched or sharply folded as this will damage the wires and trigger the safety shut off. They recommended that I use it to heat the bed and then remove it before sleeping. Some nights I have fallen asleep with it in the bed, but I’m not a fidgety sleeper and it’s been absolutely fine. The heat is great for my purposes - I usually use the middle setting which is plenty for heating up the bed. It switches itself off after 90 minutes by which time I don’t need it anymore, but if I do, I can just turn it on again. I have noticed the control unit getting warm if it’s plugged in all night, but this hasn’t caused any problems. I‘ve waited a good 5 months before writing this review so I can be confident in recommending it. It’s a well made, high quality product and perfect for use as a hot water bottle. I’m thinking of buying another one for my daughter who sometimes steals mine!

Controllable and easy to use, safer and more comfortable than a conventional hot water bottle. You can lie on it as it is flat, it wont scald you or leak and it turns its self off after 45 mins. Great for children and elderly people so long as incontinence is not an issue as water and electrics do not mix. It is very good quality. I bought one for my self than got another one for my 92 yr old Mother. It can be used if the bedroom is a bit chilly; for easing aches and pains; for relaxing back cramps due to stress or other chronic conditions, or just for comfort if you are sleeping alone. I would thoroughly recommend it

Doubtful that this was what I wanted. Did not want a conventional hot water bottle, fearful of leaks. This works fine and warms the bottom of the bed. Switches off after 90 minutes or so. It is soft to the touch, but I don't leave it in the bed.

Bought for my son who has back issues . Have one already myself and couldn’t be without it . Son says the same it really gets into the muscles to ease them . Best used pressed hard against a cushion for a good deep heat.

Ce n'est pas une prise française. Amazon a fait un geste commercial pour que je puisse acheter l'adaptateur. Le produit en lui même est top. Je l'ai acheté pour ma mère qui souffre du dos et cela la soulage. A recommander.

I liked the idea that it is slim (can put it under your back without being worries that it will burst like water filled ones). Three different degrees of heat is quite important as you can increase it gradually. It doesn't burn you and it is a well-known medical equipment brand that I trust.

Seems alright, not long enough to cover entire back.. and also, would have liked it a bit warmer.. its not warm/hot enough on the highest setting but perhaps thats a healthier temperature
