How to self-check service compatibility?

Search online: iCarsoft Technology Inc. -> select “Support&Updates”->Select “Function List”-> Select the iCarsoft Model Name-> Select your ”Car Brand, Model and Year” to check the functions.

Can't use automatic VIN detection.

Your vehicle may not support automatic VIN Scan. You can manually enter the VIN for diagnosis.

Insufficient storage space.

Please try to clear some cache files (setup-> clear data). Or you can try to do factory data reset. ( Reset may cause data loss!)

Purchased for resetting the maintenance intervals on my 911 (992) and 9Y0 Cayenne. Worked great over both vehicles. For the 911 I required a software update on the scanner. Support was very helpful and got my going quickly. Interface is easy to use as well.

It did not work out of the box, then upgraded the software to V23.10 and V33.50 from their website and it worked. Very easy to upgrade. Just downloaded the iCarsoft client kit from the website, plugged in device using the supplied USB cable, told the software which drive the device is in and upgraded in about 3min.

This scanner works fine for Porsche models till 2018… it works fine on 991 till (991.2) but not on a 992… same applies for cayenne from 2019 onwards it doesn’t work.
