ORS Olive Oil Edge Control Hair Gel with Sweet Almond Oil for Strengthening 2.2 Ounces

Is a great medium between true hair wax and edge control. Use now instead of ampro prostyl gel. Does not leave a residue or flake and smells good. I know this sounds gross, but do not wash my hair everyday, as it dries it out. I'm sure some of you reading reviews for this product know what I'm talking about. Am biracial and have curly hair which has thinned since reaching 40, but this works great on my thinner hair and my kids really thick curly hair. Use when braiding my kids hair, as well as on my hair to just pull back into a ponytail or bun. Is a little sticky, but typical of edge control., and the stickiness goes away on hair after application, leaving hair looking and feeling smooth and not stiff or hard. This stuff will last about 7-8 hours of hold before hair starts to loosen and you get the little curls popping up.

Worked wonders on my daughters fine straight as a pin hair. She always has fly aways and this helps hold it all in place. The smell is a lil different but not to the point I wont use it. This was a great took to have for her recital since they needed the hair to be in a slick back bun.

A STAPLE FAVORITE. GREAT PRODUCT. ITS GETTING DIFFICULT TO FIND FOR SOME REASON.

Love it great alternative for gel or mouse. A little on the greasy side so a little goes a long way.

I love love love this product! It is really great at smoothing my hair and edges. It is perfect for me but I don't think it is for everyone. I also use a product called Hick's Edges Hicks Edges Pomade 4oz . I actually like both of these products but here is my recommendation if you use the Olive Oil. If you are wearing your hair curly, I recommend using Olive Oil Edge Control Gel. It is medium-weight, not too heavy, its definitely not greasy. I think the moisture in it will cause straight hair to ripple or wave-up. But if your hair is being worn curly its perfect! You get smooth edges, no residue, and you can even use it to smooth back any pony puffs or other hair-do's that require slicking back hair. It leaves a nice, non-greasy shine. Love it! I use Hick's for when I wear my hair straight. For the record, it will last all night if you are going out. My Hair Background: I have natural (African-American) hair, 3b,4a, is what I have been told. I wear it curly a lot and straighten it every 3-4 weeks (less in the summer).

I absolutely love how easy it is to apply this to my hair. It makes my hair soft, is easy to wash out, and doesn’t turn my hair white like most edge controls do. This product is also amazing when paired with the 360 styling cream, S-curl, and Murray’s or Beeswax :)

Keeps my hair slicked down when I need it to be. Sticky on the hands but not when it dries down on the hair somehow. I have 3b/c low porosity hair.
