I have found it difficult to permanently fix in position so have resorted to using 2no plastic clamps to be able to move and adjust. I would probably do more research to find a more suitable vice. Noted other comments about the pitch of the fixing slots, but I don't plan to fix to my drill press so not an issue for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little partner to a full size vice. *by S***N on 18 March 2019* This little thing is a fantastic partner to a full size vice and I’m very happy with it thus far. - Its ideal for small worktop jobs where a full size vice is just too much. - The whole thing is indeed made of aluminium and seems a pretty durable grade. - It has ample sized cut outs for permanent surface mounting. - The rubber bumpers in the jaws are replaceable if needs be. - It looks well made for its price and has a nice finish with no rough or sharp edges. I used a little dab of grease to smooth out the mechanism as it comes pretty dry. I’ve been using this little thing to hold smaller items in place for easier cleaning, lubrication and modification such as multitools and folding knives. This is just one example of course there are many other uses for this little beauty.
