can you use this on ceramic sole plate please?

We've got a phillips azur gc4641 iron which I'm pretty sure is a ceramic sole plate. I just rubbed this stuff on the heated sole plate very gently and the burnt on gunk just came off like magic!

can I use this on a ceramic base

On the packaging it says suitable for all metal, Teflon and silverstone. I have 2 irons one that looks like it corresponds to what they call silverstone but the other looks like ceramic, it works brilliantly on both. I had run out of the cream and could only buy a stick cleaner and a cloth type cleaner locally. Neither was a patch on this cream so I bought a few tubes so that I don't run out a time soon.

Does it remove what appears to be scorch marks on ceramic soleplate

It did remove marks on the iron which was scorch marks I think as someone else had used the iron. I hope this helps. It was effective in cleaning the sole plate which was metal not ceramic.

Will this remove fabric stiffener residue?

Yes it removes almost anything.....it's one of the best products for cleaning iron soleplate that I've ever bought..... thoroughly recommend it
