3500+ USA Premium Yu Choy Sum Seeds for Planting, Non-GMO Seeds – Fast Growing, Low Maintainance, Heat and Cold Tolerant – High-Yielding, Heirloom

I have been growing a variety of vegetables for a while now following my retirement. Lately, I mainly focus in growing Asian vegetables because my family enjoys eating fresh stir-fried veggies. These Yu choy seeds are some of the best I've ever come across. They germinated within 3 or 4 days. I normally use the "wet towel inside the plastic bag" method. These vegetables seem to flower much earlier than the similar ones I have grown in the past. But even with the flowers, they continued to grow larger and thicker. The key point is not to wait too long before harvesting, (typically 7 to 8 weeks from start to finish) otherwise the stalks will become a little tough. These vegetables are some of the greatest tasting ones I've had. All in all, these are great seeds and highly recommended.

95%+ germination in hot, 6b end of June week. Not phased by heat wave. Soil temps were 80F in day, upper 60s at night, so ideal. Don't bury 1/2" as the instructions say - surface sow to 1/8th" seems best. 4-7 day germination is accurate, under my conditions many were up by day 3. They are slow growing at cotyledon stage. Will try to update with performance as they grow to maturity. So far, good source of seed. Update - these grew beautifully in full sun. After they got true leaves, they took off. This is my second seed packet from this company and both have been very successful. As I continue to try to broaden the species of fast greens I grow, I'll probably try some of their other packets.

Perfect for Hydroponic Tower Systems These choy sum seeds are excellent for vertical hydroponic growing. Germination rate in my tower system was around 90%, with most seeds sprouting within 5 days in sponge cubes. The plants grow fast in hydroponic conditions. Ready to harvest in about 28 days from germination, which is quicker than the 30 to 45 days listed for soil growing. The compact growth habit works perfectly in tower garden slots without overcrowding adjacent plants. Flavor is mild and sweet with tender stems. The nutrient solution uptake was consistent across all plants. No bolting issues when keeping the tower in a temperature controlled area around 65 to 75 degrees. 4000 seeds is plenty for continuous planting cycles. I start new batches every two weeks to maintain steady harvests. The organic certification is important for my hydroponic setup since I want clean, pesticide free greens.

Not nearly 3500 seeds, total seed weight was 6.3 grams and brassica seeds typically weigh 250-300 per gram, so at most 2000 seeds. Basically half of what I should have received. Haven't planted yet, it's February in Maine so quality evaluation will have to wait.

I received the package on time but I wish the pack/bag could be more professionally pack like other brand this is just a plain simple small like a ziploc plastic bag, I planted using a potting mix in a strawberry container (don't throw those containers repurpose it) & so far the germinaton is fast it took only 3-4 days & this is the cheapest Yu Choy seed I found in Amazon for $7.99 per 3500 seeds thats a lot of seeds for backyard gardening, I'm gonna plant more & will see the rest of the seeds. right now I can recommend this because of the price & fast germination but will see when its fully grown & ready to harvest wish me luck lol.. UPDATE! BEWARE ! they don't grow they just died after few days I don't know what's the reason I tried to plant again but same thing happen they germinate & grew about 3 inch tall then dried out dead don't know what kind of seed is this? Maybe this is not a Yu Choy seeds??!

tiny, like grass, can't eat any plants

I planted a few of the seeds Saturday, late afternoon and by Monday at noon some were starting to sprout, very impressed and I am super excited to see these grow. I'll be ordering more of these as I love Broccoli Rob, but have a hard time growing it here in NC. I this isn't Broccoli Rob, but it sure is close enough if I can grow it in the summer months. Im sure these will all or mostly all germinate based on the 2 day success they have had so far. I'll update if it's any different than great!
