Amazing food. It's worth noting that most shops sell these for about £4.49 and in Cotswolds, with my 15% discount (they give so man; National Trust, climbing etc) they are cheaper then Amazon BUT this is not about the price, this is about the food itself. These taste great and they are really fresh. The best bit it I use a jet boiler to cook them (really I'm warming them up) then use some of the boiling water for coffee. Eat the food straight out of the packet and the rest of the boiling water is used to clean the spoon etc. I do this when just normal camping too. This weekend with the kids. Yes, it's a little more expensive then if I just got off my lazy ass and did some real cooking but seriously, it's fun to not to bother with all he usual camping admin AND they really do taste good. Even my little fussy little critters think so - was kinda hoping they would leave me some. Nope!! (This goes for all the recipes).

Camping Food sachets
Got these for D of E trips, easy to heat up, less mess and perfect for the job. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Great taste and I stock up at a time when the price is right. Great shelf life.

A little bit pricey but look for the deals
Bought this for my son’s DofE expedition. After reading the reviews, and lo and behold they came back and said that the food was so delicious and could I get some more for the next trip. It was so easy to heat up but could of done with another packet

So so
You live and learn. This pack was essentially an inferior quality tin of beans and sausage in a foil pack, costing £6! As these packs are quite heavy, with hindsight, I should just have packed some of the small Heinz tins which I feel would have been better on many angles. You live and learn!

Really Tasty Camping Food
I bought this for my son's camping trip. He really enjoyed the flavour and said that they are very tasty. Really easy to heat up, he simply placed the pouch into a pan of boiling water until the contents were hot enough. You then carefully open the pouch and either tip the food out onto a plate or eat directly out of the pouch.
