Very happy with this strainer! I bought it to replace my previous non stick one that was mid priced but that quickly rusted and fell apart. This one was a bit more expensive but seems to be much more robust and long lasting so surely better value for money. I used it for rice, vegetables and pasta without any trouble. It has also been in the dishwasher, very important to me. Because it has a very fine mesh, I even used it upside down as a splatter guard on a small pan!

Bought to replace one of my old sieves which finally reached the end of its lifespan after many years of loving use. I searched high and low for another of the same quality and feel, and eventually found this. The mesh is a good fine mesh, and the overall construction feels strong and well made, with a quality look and feel, a comfortable and strong plastic handle rather than just a metal loop, and a wide rim with decent curved pan hook.

This sieve is a step up on our usual 2 year ones but as for a lifetime guarantee....I am not sure. Having the plastic insert in the handle does definitely make the handle much stiffer and easier to hold. It does still flex vertically though and I am a little disappointed that the weak point is still the connection between the handle and the rim which could have been splayed out more allowing a bigger spot weld. I hope I'm wrong... Only time will tell but no doubt it is a good sieve and easy to clean but perhaps not as good as it could have been bearing in mind it is about 3 times the price of the super market choice.

Didn't rate easiness to clean because it's a sieve, they're all hard to clean so there's no point punishing it for that. This one is very sturdy, good size, and after excessive use there is no signs of rust (we've bought cheaper ones in the past that rusted quickly, presumably due to cheaper materials). This might seem expensive for a sieve but imo is worth it because it lasts.

This is my second time buying this product from the same seller and I am very pleased with the purchase. The size of the strainer is good and the quality of the stainless steel is excellent. It looks like high quality and the mesh is very fine good enough to wash rice, sieve flours or wash veg & fruit in it. The handle is strong and right size to hold properly and has plastic cover on it.

Very sturdy item, pleased with it, as with previous items of this nature have come undone at the sides exposing loose metal strands. Although pricey, you get what you pay for.

Used for sieving dry or wet it is easy and also the cleaning,I feel that with it's strength that it is going to last for many years in my kitchen.Thank you.

This is a good sieve but the weld is too weak and the handle fell off.

This 8" stainless steel strainer is a really nice product. The design is elegant simplicity. The handle is comfortable to hold. And the strainer does the job perfectly. Not only that, the price is very reasonable, and the product comes with a lifetime warranty. One Sunday, after we'd had the strainer for about six weeks, the handle broke off. I contacted the company (LiveFresh) via their website, provided the requested information to establish my warranty, and explained the problem. Within an hour, I received an email response from the company. On a Sunday! The LiveFresh representative (Jennifer) thanked me for my inquiry, apologized for the inconvenience, and told me that I was not the first to experience this problem. They'd already tracked it down, solved the manufacturing problem, and were confident that their current inventory would not have handle problems. A replacement would be sent immediately, and should reach me within a week or so. Outstanding! In fact, I had the replacement in my kitchen 2 days later. We get a lot of things from Amazon, and Amazon customer service is always excellent. In this case, the customer service I received from LiveFresh really impressed me. We were so pleased by LiveFresh, I had to include the whole story in my review. This is an excellent product from a superior seller.

Une très belle passoire avec des mailles fines ce que je recherchais car pour les céréales très fines c'est compliqué. Elle est bien finie et à l'air d'être solide. Le manche en plastique est agréable à tenir. A voir comment cela se passe dans le temps.

Ottimo prodotto, lo riaquisterei sicuramente. Robusto ma leggero, lo uso molto per sciaquare e scolare cereali di piccole dimensioni. L'impugnatura in plastica lo rende molto maneggevole e la retina è molto resistente. Dopo vari utilizzi e lavaggi in lavastoviglie è come nuovo. Acquisto che consiglio.

Menos mal que por fin he podido dar con un buen colador, de momento se ve muy bueno. Había comprado otros con resultados fatales en muy poco tiempo, en cambio este tiene calidad y el asa se ve resistente. Espero me dure mucho y lo recomiendo para aquellas personas que buscan uno así de calidad
