Is this size crochet hook and design ideal for complete beginners using double knit yarn? Thanks.

4.0 is the ideal size for double knit but 4.5mm is fine and will give a slightly looser stitch

What is the length of hoock?

The hook part itself is 0.8cm. The whole crochet hook is 14cm. The metal part from tip to where it meets the handle is 4cm and just the handle is 10cm. I find these very comfortable to hold and use. I had crochet hooks that were fully metal before and my hands got very sore so switched to these.

What is the different betwen clover soft and clover amour.
