On/Off Switch 4 x 1.5V AA Battery Case Holder Leads Black w Cap 2Pcs

This was used to replace a corroded OEM battery holder. This product didn't fit the pre-existing hole so I taped it in place, after securing the tiny wires via crimp caps; those worked better than wrestling with wire nuts. The on/off switch is a nice little added feature, and is helpful when testing the connections.

I have a remote control rock crawler truck and I used these to mount lights on them. They work great. They were easy to use and a solid plastic not the cheap and easy to crack type of plastic. Will order these again if I need more. I would recommend.

These are not very durable, but this size battery case is hard to find.

It is a Plus to have the built-in On/Off switch. Due to moving the red wire too much it came disconnected from inside the holder. It's easy to pop out the small cover & resolder the wire. I've bought 4 holders. Will buy again when more needed.

They work as expected, I like the built in On/Off switch. Saves the batteries and saves my time to have to add an On/Off switch.

I needed a way to power 4 tiny motors for my son's drone project. I initially intended to use just one. Good thing this came as a 2 pack! The motors needed way more power than I thought! It's pretty straightforward. Add 4 AA batteries and connect to whatever you want to supply power and you're done!

I received the two battery holders on time. I was a little disappointed, that one of the holders had a missing retainer (part of the sliding lid). When checking the other one, trying to close that sliding lid, one of those clips broke as well. The lid staying closed depends heavily on the clips holding fully. My application will hold the lids closed using additional hardware. I would not use this product as a “stand alone” unit. I could not depend on the batteries staying put, it it was moved a lot. My recommendation would be to design the lid and base with a groove and channel that would hold the two parts together, and the clips would only be needed to keep the interlocking parts from sliding away from each other. Even if the clips broke, the sliding groove and channel would hold the batteries in place, unless the two parts slid all the way apart from the groove and channel length.

I used this case to replace a Battery pack on an old radio scanner so I could use alkaline batteries with it. It snaps together well and is made out of sturdy plastic. It does have a hole to use to screw it shut but i didn't need it because the snap alone holds it in place. I like the slide on/off switch on it because it is perfect for what i needed it for. Battery connections on it seem solid - so it looks like it will last along time. Thumbs up from me.
