Worst experience
Used this product (Indus Valley Beard Dye) exactly as per the instructions, but I developed a severe allergic reaction. My lips and beard area became extremely swollen, and I had to visit a dermatologist. It took nearly two days of medication for the swelling to subside.I have used other beard dyes in the past and have never experienced such a severe reaction. This product caused me significant discomfort and inconvenience. It was a waste of both time and money. I would advise others to perform a patch test and use this product with caution.

Overall nice product
Overall good product. But overall application takes around 2 hours time. So, if you are planning to use. Kindly be prepared to spend 2 hours. But best thing is it won’t leave strains in skin.

Natural colour
Natural colour as they claim not harmful but needs to keep for longer time to get better shade
User
Waste of time and money
This beard color takes around 2 hours. Its like painting your house. First apply primer and then the color. Each process takes around 45 minutes. Which is 1 and half hours. It doesn’t seem practical.

No allergic reactions caused
No allergy, good colour. A bit long process to fix the color (about 2 hours) but in worth it.

induced skin redness, rashes, and itching. Maybe not suited for my skin type, but thought it was natural so used itI will never buy this product again

Follow instructions
I think this is a great product, first time used my beard was very green and I thought I would have to shave but as the instructions say ,wait, because with time it does darken up. 2½ weeks I had to re-apply. Color is great ,looks natural . Would definitely recommend if you have allergies to other dyes like me.I don't recommend this product anymore for on my second purchase it turned my hair purple 🟣 purple man. This product is not available and should not be anymore

Best beard dye on the market. Mix with boiling hot water.
This is by far the best beard dye on the market. Yes, it’s a two-step process and does take about two hours, but the time spent is absolutely worth it. No skin irritation whatsoever. The color is great and lasts until it grows out. After trying nearly every beard dye out there and having extreme allergic reactions to all of them it was such a blessing to discover Indus Valley. I’m a customer for life.IMPORTANT: Mix the powder with boiling hot water. I believe the reviews stating that the color doesn’t hold or turned their beard green is because they didn’t use boiling hot water.Hot Water Helps the Dye-Bearing Molecules Release.Plant powders like henna and indigo don’t dissolve — they release their active dye compounds when heat and moisture break down the plant cell structure. Hot water accelerates that release so you get a stronger color yield right away. This is the same basic reason hot water matters in henna — it helps free the color molecules and also gives you a smooth paste.
